資源簡介 Teaching designBOOK 3 Unit2 Morals and VirtuesReading and Thinking: Mother of ten thousand babies授課教師 學校、年級課型 時長話題 Unit2 Reading and Thinking: Mother of ten thousand babies教學設計理念 本節課根據課標提出的六要素整合的英語學習活動觀理念,關注學生學習參與的實際獲得,創設與主題意義密切相關的語境,引導學生對文本主題意義的探究。依據英語學科能力要素及表現指征框架進行學習理解類,應用實踐類和遷移創新類活動過程中培養學生語言理解和表達能力,推動學生對主題意義的深度學習,構建新知,發展思維。在解決問題的過程中辨別真善美,達到學科育人,落實對學生學學科素養的培育。教材內容分析 主題語境:“人與社會”主題語境下“對社會有突出貢獻的人物”這一主題群 語篇類型:人物傳記 語篇研讀: 【what】該文章按照時間順序敘述了林巧稚的一生,其中著重描寫了她曾面臨的人生抉擇例如:是遵循中國傳統的道德觀念結婚成家,還是不顧學費高昂去追求白己的醫學夢?是留在條件優厚、前景美好的異國發展,還是冋到苦難深重的祖國為之效力?是選擇擁有自己的小家庭,還是為了中國無數的家庭而堅持不懈地工作?而林巧稚所作出的抉擇無不反映了她堅定的信念、美好的心靈、高度的職業責任感和奉獻精神。【why】學生通過本篇文章的學習可以幫助學生學習如何作出人生抉擇。林巧稚是為我國醫療事業做出貢獻的著名女醫生,她的人生經歷能給學生帶來無限啟迪。學生可以從文章中感受到她身上的仁善、自強、勤奮、執著、敬業、慷慨,還有高度的責任感和廣博的愛心。通過本文倡導學生學習這些美好品質,并啟發學生反思自我,思考如何面對人生抉擇,認真選擇未來的道路,全力以赴地面對人生的挑戰。希望通過林巧稚的故事教育學生尤其是女學生,要堅持自己的信念和夢想,理解生活的價值和意義,努力抓住機遇,把握自己的人生,從而達成育人目標的落實。 【How】文體結構和語言修辭:本文體裁為人物傳記,共六個自然段,可分為二個部分。第一部分介紹了林巧稚的人生原則;第二部分詳細闡述了林巧稚在求學、工作、職業發展、個人榮譽、個人婚姻和財產方面所作出的選擇,以此呼應第一段的人生原則。本文采用第三人稱敘事,使用一般現在時介紹林巧稚人生原則,運用一般過去時敘述林巧稚的生平事跡。文中多處引用林巧稚的原話英譯,真實且具有說服力,正面體現了其高貴品質和精神。學情分析 1.已有基礎:學生通過聽力部分的學習對于林巧稚有所耳聞。大部分學生能夠通過閱讀從文中獲得表層信息。 2.存在問題;學生對于文中部分生詞還不太熟悉;能力方面,學生在獲取信息的基礎上缺乏對于信息的梳理和提煉能力。 3.解決措施:在梳理林巧稚的人生選擇時使用導圖的形式去梳理和整合林巧稚的人生經歷和其人生中的幾次重要選擇,幫助學生明晰思路。教學目標 1.語言能力 (1)辨別人物傳記題材和文本結構; (2)訓練語篇要義、從語篇中提取關鍵信息的理解性技能; (3)初步掌握從要點中提煉歸納人物性格和品質的能力。 2.思維品質 通過細讀文本,分析已有信息,訓練概括和推理的思維判斷能力。 3.文化意識 了解林巧稚身上體現的道德品質與美德,樹立正確的道德觀和價值觀,自覺遵守和踐行中華傳統美德。教學重難點 【重點】 1. 梳理林巧稚的生平經歷和她做出的人生抉擇及結果; 2. 分析林巧稚人生抉擇背后的原因,總結概括林巧稚所具備的美德。 【難點】 表達個人對人生抉擇的看法。Preparation before class 1. Find the topic sentence of each paragraph according to the text content, and understand the content of the article; 3. Acivity3:Careful-reading Task1:Read and decide whether the statements are true (T) , False (F) . 1.At age 18,most girls 'goal was to find a good husband except Lin Qiaozhi. 2.
