教學目標 通過本課學習，學生能夠: 1.To be able to understand the new words and phrases and know more about The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.（學習理解） 2. To able to describe the background of the novel The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, the main characters of the story, the best parts of the story, and the influence of the book on people, based on structured knowledge.（應用實踐） 3.To be able to introduce one of the students’ favourite books to others and write a passage about your favorite book .（遷移創新）
教學 重、難點 1. 重點：How to teach students to get specific information from a book review of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. 2. 難點：How to make the students learn comment on the characters of the heroes in the book and understand their feelings.
