一般現在時的被動語態
一、被動語態的概念
英語動詞有兩種語態：主動語態和被動語態。主動語態表示主語是動作的執行者，被動語態表示主語是動作的承受者。本單元主要介紹的是一般現在時的被動語態。
二、一般現在時的被動語態的基本結構
1.肯定句式：主語+is /am /are+及物動詞的過去分詞+其他.
e.g. English is spoken by many people in this city.這個城市里很多人說 英語。
2.否定句式：主語+is/am/are+not+及物動詞的過去分詞+（by）其他.
e.g. The room isn’t cleaned by my sister. 這個房間不是由我姐姐打掃的。
3. 一般疑問句式：Is/Am/Are+主語+及物動詞的過去分詞+（by）其他？
e.g. —Are your clothes washed by yourself 你的衣服是你自己洗嗎？
—No, I’m not. 不，不是。
4. 特殊疑問句式：
（1）疑問副詞或代詞（不作主語）+is/am/are+主語+及物動詞的過去分詞+其他？
e.g. What is the ring made of 戒指是用什么制作的？
（2）疑問代詞（作主語）+ is/am/are + 及物動詞的過去分詞 +其他？
e.g. Which kind of cars is made in Shanghai 哪種車是上海制造的？
三、主動語態變為被動語態的方法
1.主動語態的賓語變為被動語態的主語；
2.主動語態的謂語動詞變為“be+及物動詞的過去分詞”形式；
3.主動語態的主語變為by引導的短語放在主謂結構之后，在意思明確的時候可以省略。

1. on the last Friday of each month 在每月的最后一個周五
介詞 on 用在日期，星期幾，節日前，也用來表示具體某一天的
上午，下午或晚上。
e.g. on November 1st 在11月1日
on Tuesday evening 在星期二晚上

Language Points
2. be covered by 被……所覆蓋
等同于 be covered with。
e.g. The ground is covered by/with deep snow. 地面被厚厚的雪
覆蓋著。
3. careless driving 粗心駕駛
careless 形容詞，意為“粗心的，不小心的”。
其反義詞為careful。
類似于 careless 的詞有：
hopeless 無望的；sleepless 不眠的；useless 無用的等。
