狀語從句
狀語從句中在復合句中作狀語。根據句子的含義，可表示時間，地點，原因，目的，結果，條件，行為方式，比較，讓步等。
時間狀語從句：
1.When,while,as區別
相同 表示當。。。時候，主句為短暫性動作，從句為延續性動作 I met Laura when/while/as I was walking along the street.
不同 When+非延續性動詞及延續性動詞
While常與延續性動詞或表示狀態的動詞連用，“與。。。同時” While my wife was reading the book I was watching TV.
As表示“一邊。。。一邊。。。”隨著。。。 He sang as he walked along.
2.表示一。。。就。。。短語類：as soon as scarcely…when hardly…when no sooner…than
名詞類：the moment the minute the instant
副詞類：immediately instantly directly
Time類：every time next time by the time each time
3.scarcely…when hardly…when no sooner…than用法：
搭配
時態：主過完had done從過did
語序：位于句首時，后面要部分倒裝（主倒從不倒，即把had提到主語之前）
（二）條件狀語從句
1.定義：在時間狀語從句、條件狀語從句中，主句表將來含義，從句一般現在時
2.連接詞：if, unless,（除非）in case（萬一）,so/as long as（只要）,on condition that（在。。。條件下）, supposing/suppose/provided/providing/given,（that）（假定，假設）once（一旦）;save that （只有。。。，除了。。。）
（三）讓步狀語從句
1.連接詞：as (倒裝),though（可倒可不倒）,although（不倒裝）,while(盡管)用于句首
例如：Although/Though he works hard, he makes little progress.
Hard though/as he works, he makes little progress.
2.No matter+疑問詞和疑問詞+ever用法區別：都可引導讓步狀語從句，但只能用疑問句+ever引導名詞性從句 例如：I believe whatever he said.
（四）結果狀語從句
1．So…that, such…that
例如：He is so clever that everyone likes him.
He is such a clever boy that everybody likes him.
So+adj./adv.
Such+a/an+adj.+n.=so+adj.+a/an+n.
Such+adj.+可數名詞復數
注意：名詞前many,much,few,little等修飾時，表達數量，用so
(五)比較狀語從句
標志詞： than，as…as, not so/as...as, the+比較級。。。，the+比較級。。。
（六）原因狀語從句
標志詞： because, as, since,（因為） now that, in that（既然，由于） ,seeing/considering that，given that(鑒于，考慮到)
（七）方式狀語從句
標志詞：as if/as though好像，仿佛；as正如，按照
(八)目的狀語從句
標志詞：so that(為了。。。；目的是。。。)，in order that（目的是）in case（以防）for fear(that),lest(唯恐，以防)
