If we ask people to bring food, they'll just bring potato chips and chocolate.(一)if 引導的條件狀語從句語法講解考點 1當主句用一般將來時時,if引導的條件狀語從句用一般現在時,我們稱之為“主將從現”原則。eg:If it rains tomorrow,I'll stay at home.如果明天下雨,我將呆在家里。考向一if 引導的條件狀語從句的時態與主句的一致性。【重點】You will see many aunts dancing together on the square if it________ in the evening.(連云港)A.doesn't rain B.rainsC.will rain D.won't rain【解析】本題用語法判定法。句意:如果晚上不下雨,你會看到許多阿姨在廣場上一起跳舞。當主句是一般將來時時,if引導的條件狀語從句用一般現在時(即主將從現)。典例Aunless引導條件狀語從句時,主句為將來時,從句用一般現在時表示將來(即主將從現)。unless本身就表示否定,在意義上相當于“if ...not”,其引導條件狀語從句時與“if ...not”,兩者可以互換。eg:I will go there unless it rains.=I will go there if it doesn't rain.如果不下雨,我就去那里。【重點】拓展You won't pass the exams ________ you work hard. (遂寧)A.if B.unless C.so【解析】本題用語境判斷法。句意:如果你不努力學習,你考試就會不及格。unless除非;如果不,在意義上相當于if ...not。典例B如果主句含有must,may,can 等情態動詞,if引導的條件狀語從句也用一般現在時。eg:If you drive too fast,you may have an accident.如果你開得太快,你可能會出交通事故。考向二考向三如果主句是祈使句,if引導的條件狀語從句同樣用一般現在時。eg:Tell Tom to ask Jack for help if he still has problems with his schoolwork.如果湯姆學業方面還有問題,告訴他去找杰克幫忙。if引導的賓語從句與if引導的條件狀語從句的時態區分。if引導賓語從句時,當“是否”講,時態根據其主句而定:★當主句是現在的某種時態時,if從句的時態根據實際情況而定。★當主句是過去的某種時態時,if從句要用過去的某種時態。eg:Lucy asks Tom if he'll travel around the world one day.露西問湯姆他是否有一天會去環游世界。I didn’t know if he was right or not before youtold me that.在你告訴我那件事之前,我不知道他是否是正確的。考點 2【難點】—Can you guess if they ________ to play basketball with us —I think they will come if they ________ free.A.come;are B.will come;will beC.will come;are D.come;will be【解析】本題用語法判定法。第一個if 引導賓語從句,意思是“是否”,由句意可知應用一般將來時。第二個if引導條件狀語從句,且主句是一般將來時,從句應用一般現在時表將來。 典例C(二)情態動詞should 表建議作為情態動詞,should 符合情態動詞的一般用法:后加動詞原形(do);變否定句時在should 后加not,即shouldn't;變疑問句時,把should 提到主語前。eg:What should I do if I want to be famous 如果我想出名,我應該做什么?考向除用情態動詞should 表建議外,還有一些常用的表建議的句型,歸納如下:1.Let's (not) do...2.Why don't you do...?=Why not do... 3.What/How about doing... 4....had better (not) do...5.It's best (not) to do...6.It's better (not) to do...7.Don't you want to... 拓展Fill in the blanks with the correct forms of the verbs in brackets.Dear Su Mei,I don't________(know) what to________(do) about going to Mike's birthday party tomorrow night.
