教材分析
本節課選自 2019 年人教版高中新教材必修二 Unit5 Reading and Thinking——Music。話題比較貼近學生的日常生活，而且極具時代氣息，易于被學生接受。學生通過該單元話題的學習，不僅能夠獲得語言能力的提高，也能夠獲得文化意識的提升。本節課的閱讀文章對一種新的音樂形式——虛擬合唱團及其創始人埃里克.惠塔克（Eric Whitacre）進行了介紹。本文以說明為主，以敘事為輔，旨在讓讀者不僅對其組織形式、制作方式和產生的原因等有所了解，還對這種形式給人們歌唱方式和整個世界帶來的積極影響有所認識。該文本采用了說明性文體，共四段：第一段介紹了虛擬合唱團的組織形式、制作方式，及其所產生的積極影響；第二、三兩段介紹了虛擬合唱團創始人埃里克·惠塔克在音樂方面的經歷，重點介紹了他于 2009 年創辦首個虛擬合唱團“金色光芒(Lux Aurumque)”的前因后果和 2014 年為聯合國兒童基金會(UNICEF)創辦的“虛擬青年合唱團(Virtual Youth Choir)”；第四段是作者對虛擬合唱團的形式和影響的感悟。
學情分析
本節課授課對象為高一的學生，經過高一第一個學期的語言能力和思維品質的培養，學生已基本具備用英語獲取和處理信息、分析和解決問題的能力，對于閱讀策略也有所了解。對于基礎的信息查找類問題，大部分學生能夠在老師的引導下順利完成，但是對于文本深入探討的能力相對較弱，語言輸出方面也存在著一定的問題。因此在設計時，考慮到學生的可接受程度，將部分環節（如分析虛擬合唱團成功的原因、口頭介紹虛擬合唱團等）的難度做了降級處理。基于班里學生英語水平參差不齊的情況,教學過程中，教師布置的任務需兼顧各個層次的學生,使問題設置多樣化,從而促使他們通過聽、說、讀、思,在知識層面和思維層面都有不同程度的收獲。

Through the design of various classroom activities such as watching and sharing videos, understanding the main idea and details of each part of the article, and organizing group discussions after reading, we aim to guide students to think deeply, encourage analysis and expression, and develop critical thinking skills. Through this discourse learning, teachers guide students to understand through a series of English learning activities such as acquisition and organization, summarization and integration, expression and interpretation, analysis and judgment, internalization and application
