教學方法 Task-based Language Teaching method is chosen according to analyzing the teaching resource and the students. The task 'to choose the fittest applicants for the kindergarten and Beijing Sports & Leisure Company' is developed on the background of holiday social practice. The students will learn on their own and learn by cooperating with group members.
教學手段 Mobile-learning：look up new words in youdao and read after it; search the Internet for information useful for writing out a job advertisement.

Step One Lead-in and assign the task 8’ Guide the students to talk about the qualities their classmates who are chosen to take part in the holiday social practice last time. Talk about the qualities: Have good communication skills and can speak fluent English and be good at math. Review the key points in the dialogue and lead in the new lesson.
They are chosen because they are qualified for the jobs. Today all of us will act as employers and try to find the fittest employees for our company. Divide the Ss into 4 groups. Draw the lots and decide which company to work for. Group 1&3: kindergarten Group 2&4: Beijing Sports &Leisure Company Lead in the task
Step two analyze the task 5’ Analyze how to choose the fittest applicants: Read the want ads and be clear about the requirements by reading the advertisements; Be clear about the applicants’ qualities by interviewing them; Be clear about what they need to do next. Group 1&3 work as interviewers in kindergarten and they have to apply for positions in Beijing Sports & Leisure Company Group 2&4 work as Interviewers in Beijing Sports & Leisure Company and they have to apply for positions in kindergarten Help students learn how to solve problems.
Step three While-task 45’ Guide the Ss to skim the advertisements and get the rough idea; scan the ads and fill in the forms; Ad1Ad2Company Position Address
read the ads and handle the new words. Read the advertisements to Get the rough idea; Get the detail information; underline the new words and share information in groups to get their meanings. For difficult ones, look them up in youdao. Develop the Ss’ autonomous study ability. Look up new words in youdao, study on their own. TA is responsible to supervise groups members work hard and is empowered to ask members to rotate to read the new words to ensure their pronunciation is correct. In case of any mistake occurring, TA should help improve.
Guide the Ss to make clear about their requirements. kindergarten English teacher: Qualities: Good pronunciation and intonation Good computer skills 3. Love children 4.Willing to work on weekends Marketing assistants: have at least two-year work experience in this field. speak fluent English. have good communication skills. be able to work under pressure. Work together to make clear the requirements of the two organizations. Help Ss learn to collaborate with each other and make clear about the unknown knowledge points. Prepare for next step—interview the applicants.
Step three While-task 45’ Guide the Ss to work as Interviewers & interviewees. Some Ss work as interviewers and some Ss work as the applicants: Mary, Sheila, John Cindy, Alex, Alan According to the requirements role play the interview. Put what they have learned into practice.
Step four: Evaluation 30’ Evaluation criteria: Applicants’ abilities Applicants’ performance Choose the fittest applicants for the job positions according to the criteria. Learn to evaluate others.
Learn furthermore: Fill in the ads.
