本課 教學(xué) 目標(biāo) 1. 學(xué)習(xí)理解:能夠通過本節(jié)課的學(xué)習(xí),了解章魚的身體和能力,同時了解介紹類說明文的特征； 2. 應(yīng)用實(shí)踐:能夠通過閱讀拓展文章,快速獲取文章主旨大意;運(yùn)用略讀尋讀閱讀技巧,獲取文章細(xì)節(jié)信息;根據(jù)所給信息，提取和整合文章中的關(guān)鍵信息, 并復(fù)述文章和描述其他令人驚異的動物； 3. 遷移創(chuàng)新:能夠了解大自然中令人驚嘆的動物和大自然的奇妙，認(rèn)識到保護(hù)動物和保護(hù)大自然的重要性。
教學(xué) 重難點(diǎn) 重點(diǎn): 掌握與章魚相關(guān)詞匯的含義及用法，鞏固一般現(xiàn)在時；學(xué)會略讀獲取主旨大意，掃讀定位特定信息，利用上下文猜測生詞詞義；理解章魚身體構(gòu)造、能力等細(xì)節(jié)，把握文章整體結(jié)構(gòu)與段落邏輯關(guān)系。
難點(diǎn): 理解記憶專業(yè)詞匯；體會作者情感并建立海洋生物保護(hù)意識。

Step 1. Lead-in. 1.Ss observe the pictures and learn to say the names of the animals. Ss: Jellyfish, crab, turtle, seahorse, octopus. 2. The teacher plays a video about the octopus. Then guide ss to have a free talk by asking some questions. Do you know where octopuses live What does an octopus look like What special abilities do you think an octopus might have Step 2. Reading. 1.Skimming Look through the title, the picture and the text, tell the type of the passage and find out the structure and the main idea. What’s the type of the passage Exposition. How many paragraphs are there Four paragraphs. Which one is the correct structure of the passage What’s the main idea of the passage 2. Scanning Para.1 Let Ss read the first paragraph and ask questions. What does the writer think of the octopus They are strange and unusual. How many kinds of octopuses are there About 300. What do these numbers mean They mean the length of the octopuses. Para.2& Para.3 Let Ss read the second and third paragraphs and fill in the blanks. Para.4 Read para.4 carefully and answer the questions. Why is it important to study amazing animals Because we can learn from animals and they also show us how wonderful nature is and why it is important to protect it. Why are the octopus amazing Because they can change their color and shape. They can also make ink to protect themselves. When an octopus loses an arm, it can grow it back. 3. Post-reading (1) Finish the mind map and retell the text. (2) The teacher encourages ss to share their knowledge about other amazing animals with their group members. Invite Ss to make a report in class. Provide the sentence structures and the evaluation criteria. Step 3. Summary Let the students summarize the key knowledge in the lesson by themselves. Step 4. Homework Recite the new words and expressions. Write a passage: Introduce the amazing animals.
