VI.教材佳句
1.[教材原句P26]There is little doubt that Earth is getting warmer and warmer (see the graph)．　
There is no/little doubt that......是固定句型，表示“毫無疑問......”，that引導同位語從句，無含義，不能省略。
There_is_no_doubt at all that we did the right thing.毫無疑問我們做得對。
知識拓展 There is some doubt whether ... 是否……還有些疑問（whether表示“是否”，引導同位語從句，不能換成if）
2.[教材原句P26]An expert who has studied polar bears for many years said that from the position of its dead body, the bear appeared to have starved and died.　　
句中用了appear to have done結構，表示“似乎已經做了某事”，to have done是動詞不定式的完成式，表示動作發現在appear之前。
There appears_to_have_been a mistake.看來有一個差錯。
[教材原句P33]With these measures, it is believed that the beauty of the Li River will be preserved for generations to come.　　
這是It is believed that從句句型，表示“人們相信......”。it作形式主語,that引導主語從句。
It_is_believed_that the couple have left the country.據人們相信那對夫婦已經離開了這個國家。
