教學目標
1. 語言知識目標 ：學生能夠掌握描述動物的基本詞匯和句型，如動物的名稱name、外貌looks、棲息地home、食物food和能力ability。
2. 語言技能目標：學生能夠通過聽力和對話練習，提高英語聽說能力，并能夠用英語描述自己喜歡的動物。
3. 情感態(tài)度目標 ：培養(yǎng)學生對動物的興趣和愛護動物的意識。
教學重點
掌握描述動物的詞匯和句型：cute / cool, lovely / amazing, funny / interesting, clever / smart

能夠聽懂并復述關于動物的對話。

教學過程
Step1. lead-in (5分鐘)
1：教師展示如下幾張動物的圖片（企鵝、獅子、熊貓），引導學生說出這些動物的名稱。
Question：What’s your favourite animal Why do you like it
設計目的：激發(fā)學生的興趣，引入本課主題。
句型：What’s your favourite animal / My favourite animal is... / I like... because...step
Step 2. listening practice (10分鐘)
Task 1：播放2a的對話錄音，學生聽錄音并圈出聽到的彩色單詞。
Question：What animals are they talking about What do they say about the penguins
設計目的：訓練學生的聽力能力，理解對話內容。
Check the answer：penguin, cute, cool, lovely, amazing, swim, fly, Antarctica, cold, clever, smart, fish, sandwich
教師分析對話，學生積累以下句型：
They can't fly, but they can swim fast.
They are from Antarctica.
They eat fish and small sea animals.
Step3. speaking practice (15分鐘)
Task2 ：學生分組練習2a的對話，注意模仿語音語調。
Question：Can you describe the penguins based on the conversation
設計意圖：提高學生的口語表達能力，熟悉描述動物的句型。
教師提供以下句型腳手架：

Task 4：學生完成2c的練習，將標題與問題匹配。

設計意圖：幫助學生理解如何用不同的問題獲取關于動物的信息。

Step5. Making card (10分鐘)
Task 6：Work on 2e
學生根據2d的提示，制作一張關于自己最喜歡的動物的卡片。
Question：What information should you include in your card
設計意圖：鞏固所學知識，培養(yǎng)學生的寫作能力。
單詞提示：name, looks, home, food, ability
板書句型：
My favourite animal is...
It looks...
It lives in...

Step 6. 角色扮演 (10分鐘)
Task7：學生使用2d的問題，互相詢問對方最喜歡的動物，并記錄下來。
Question：What did you learn about your partner’s favourite animal
設計目的：提高學生的口語交際能力，增強互動。
句型復習：What’s your favourite animal / What does it look like / Where does it live / What does it eat / What can it do
Step 7. Summery and homework (5分鐘)
Summery：師生問答總結本節(jié)課的主要內容，強調描述動物的關鍵句型。
Homework：將采訪班上的一位同學，設計一個如同2e的卡片。

教學反思
