一、教學目標
1. 知識目標:學生能夠掌握重點詞匯(如:telephone, number, it's = it is 等)和句型(What's your/his/her telephone number It's...);能正確認讀、拼寫詞匯和運用句型進行詢問和回答電話號碼。
2. 能力目標:通過聽力、口語練習,提高學生的聽說能力;培養學生在實際情境中運用英語交流的能力。
3. 情感目標:激發學生學習英語的興趣,鼓勵學生積極參與課堂活動,增強學生學習英語的自信心。
二、教學重難點
1. 重點:重點詞匯和句型的掌握與運用;通過聽力練習獲取關鍵信息。
2. 難點:熟練運用句型詢問和回答他人的電話號碼;在實際交流中自然運用所學知識。
三、教學方法
1. 情境教學法:創設真實的交際情境,讓學生在情境中感受和運用英語。
2. 任務驅動法:布置具體任務,引導學生通過完成任務來學習和鞏固知識。
3. 合作學習法:組織學生進行小組合作,共同完成學習任務,培養學生的合作意識和團隊精神。
四、教學過程
(一)Warming - up(5分鐘)
1. Greetings: T: Hello, boys and girls! How are you today Ss: Fine, thank you. And you T: I'm very well, too.
2. Free talk: Talk about students' names and where they are from briefly to review the knowledge learned in Section A.
(二)Lead - in(5分鐘)
1. Show some pictures of telephones on the PPT. Ask students: “What's this ” Encourage them to answer in English. Then teach the new word “telephone” and its short form “phone”. Practice reading the words.
2. Point to the numbers on the telephone and review the numbers from 0 - 9 with students.
(三)Presentation(5分鐘)
1. Write the sentence pattern “What's your telephone number ” on the blackboard. Explain the meaning and usage. Teach students to answer “It's...” and write some examples on the blackboard.
2. Do pair - work. Students practice asking and answering the telephone numbers with their partners. Walk around the classroom to monitor and offer help.
(四)1a(5分鐘)
1. Show the pictures in 1a on the PPT. Let students look at the pictures and match the names with the telephone numbers.
2. Check the answers together. Ask students to read the sentences like “Linda's telephone number is 535 - 2375.”
(五)1b(5分鐘)
1. Tell students they will listen to a conversation between David and Jane. First, let them look at the names and telephone numbers in 1b.
2. Play the recording for the first time. Students just listen.
3. Play the recording again. This time, students listen and write down the telephone numbers they hear next to the names.
4. Check the answers. Play the recording one more time if necessary.
(六)1c(5分鐘)
1. Model the conversation in 1c with a student. For example:
T: Hello! I'm David. What's your name
S: My name is...
T: What's your telephone number
S: It's...
2. Students work in pairs. They make conversations like the model, using their own names and telephone numbers. Walk around to monitor and correct their pronunciation and grammar mistakes.
3. Invite some pairs to act out their conversations in front of the class.
(七)1d(5分鐘)
1. Divide students into groups of four. Each group member has a role: David, Jane, Tom and Mary.
2. Let students read the conversation in 1d quickly to get a general idea.
3. Students practice the conversation in their groups. They can change the names and telephone numbers according to their own situations.
4. Ask some groups to come to the front and perform the conversation. Other students listen and give comments.
(八)Summary(5分鐘)
1. Summarize the key words and sentence patterns learned in this class with students, such as “telephone number, What's your/his/her telephone number It's...”
2. Review the importance of listening skills and communication in English learning.
(九)Homework(5分鐘)
1. Ask students to recite the new words and sentence patterns.
2. Let students make a list of their family members' and friends' telephone numbers and write down the conversations of asking and answering them.
五、教學反思
在本次教學中,通過多種教學方法激發了學生的學習興趣,大部分學生能夠積極參與課堂活動,掌握重點詞匯和句型,聽說能力也得到了一定鍛煉。情境教學法和小組合作學習法效果顯著,學生在真實情境和小組互動中較好地運用了英語。但也存在一些不足,如在聽力環節,部分基礎薄弱的學生難以快速準確捕捉信息,今后應加強聽力技巧指導,增加聽力練習頻率和難度梯度。在學生展示環節,個別學生表現較為緊張,口語表達不夠流利,后續要給予更多鼓勵和機會,幫助他們克服心理障礙,提升口語表達自信 。
