Members of a Sentence句子成分
主語（ Subject）: 是一個句子的主體，是全句述說的對象，常用名詞或相當于名詞的詞充當，一般置于句首。
請閱讀以下句子，劃出各個句子中的主語。
Friendship comes first.
We are students.
Three of us will help you.
The old need help
The dying are crying.
The wounded are being taken care of .

二． 謂語(Predicate)
說明主語做什么或怎么樣。通常由動詞或動詞短語充當.動詞有人稱，時態，單復數，語態的變化。謂語動詞分為及物，不及物，連系動詞和實意動詞。請劃出下列句子的謂語。
1 I am/He is /You are a student.
2. We often read English in the morning.

三． 賓語(Object)：是表示及物動詞的動作對象或介詞所聯系的對象的。常用名詞或相當于名詞的詞擔當，置于及物動詞或介詞后。請劃出下列句子中的賓語
We love our mother school.
People from the same country understand each other better.
You must learn to take care of yourselves at school.
Five times six makes thirty.
We should practice speaking English every day .
We should love the young and respect the old .

四．表語（ Predicative）跟在連系動詞后面的詞語或從句,用來說明主語的身份,特征,狀態.。請劃出下列句子中的表語。

五．定語(Attribute)用來修飾，限定某些名詞或或相當于名詞的詞的。常用形容詞或相當于形容詞的短語來擔當。請劃出下列句子中的定語。

The boy standing over there is Tom. （站在那邊那個男孩是湯姆）
Twenty students have passed the Grand Four Test.（二十個學生已經通過了大學英語四級考試）

六．狀語（Adverbial）是修飾動詞，副詞，形容詞和全句的一類語法成分。常用副詞或相當于副詞的短語來擔當。

七． 同位語（Appositive）一個名詞(或其它形式)對另一個名詞或代詞進行解釋或說明，這個名詞(或其它形式)就是同位語

八．補足語. （ Complement）用來補充說明賓語或主語的 動作 和 狀態 等。可由n. / adj / adv / prep. Phrases / num. / pron / to do / doing 充當。
You can call me Lucy.

He kept me waiting for half an hour.
Let me out and him in.
注：動詞賓語后是否要加賓補以及賓補所采用的形式都由動詞的固定用法決定。
