T: Good morning, class. How are you, today?

Work on 1
(1)Listen and conclude.
Play the pronunciation of the following words: she;these;bed;pet and let students repeat.
T: What pronunciation does “e” have in the word?
Ss: /i:/ and /e/.
T: Great. Now, add one more word to the two groups.
Conclude the other ea/ee/ear in the same way.
(2)Practice
Show the pictures of the words: she, these, bed, pet, please, sheep, bread, hear, bear, pear, dead, dear and let students say out their pronunciation quickly. Teacher can divide students into two groups and the faster group won the game.
