舌身平放，舌中部伸向 硬腭，但不要接觸到硬腭，舌部肌肉緊張；雙唇稍稍張開，位置和發(fā)[i ]時(shí)相似；這個(gè)音聽起來(lái)和漢語(yǔ)的"餓"相似，要注意的是在美國(guó)英語(yǔ)中該音后常常加上一個(gè)r的音，類似北京方言的兒發(fā)音。
