Lesson 5 Grammar in Use
I. Material analysis
內容解讀：Grammar in Use部分為語法內容的學習與使用，內容為量詞和句型How many.../How much...兩個部分。在量詞部分，首先通過觀察圖片和閱讀句子，感知量詞的表達形式和基本意義。在此基礎上，通過匹配信息造句和閱讀文本圈劃信息的活動來觀察、歸納和總結量詞的使用規則和語用功能。在句型How many.../How much...部分，通過對話感知理解句型How many.../How much...的使用規則和語用功能。在此基礎上觀察、歸納和總結句型How many.../How much...，并填寫表格和完成對話，使學生根據特定語境，總結句型How many.../How much...的用法，開展遷移創新活動。本部分共有6個活動。

在語境中理解量詞和句型How many.../How much...的形式、意義和用法；
對比、歸納how many和how much在形式、意義和使用上的區別；
初步具有運用量詞和句型How many.../How much...的意識和能力；

III. Teaching procedures
課時教學內容概述
本課時為語法學習與使用，分為兩個部分，包括量詞和句型How many.../How much...兩部分。 量詞部分：Activity 1 呈現語法現象。學生通過觀察圖片和閱讀句子，感知量詞的表達形式和基本意義。Activity 2學生通過匹配信息造句來觀察、歸納和總結量詞的使用規則和語用功能。Activity 3為遷移創新類應用。學生運用單元語法知識，閱讀文本并圈劃信息，鞏固所學。學生通過三個活動感知意義、歸納形式、實踐應用。 句型How many.../How much...部分：Activity 1學生通過對話感知句型How many.../How much...的形式、意義和使用規則，Activity 2學生結合Activity 1對話中呈現的How many.../How much...句型，觀察、歸納并完成有關句型How many.../How much...的表格。Activity 3學生閱讀對話，運用How many.../How much...進行填空。

Step 1 Observing Look at the pictures in Activity 1 and read the sentences. Pay attention to the quantifiers in bold. Read the sentences in Activity 1 and identify the position of quantifiers in the sentences. 觀察學生的表現，根據學生的梳理情況，了解其對量詞的認知。

設計意圖：引導學生閱讀和匹配信息，理解并歸納量詞的形式和使用規則。
Step 3 Applying 1. Read the text in Activity 3 and circle what Xiao Lin buys and underline what her mom buys. 2. Check the answers. 3. Read the text together. 觀察學生在文本中圈劃量詞的情況，判斷其是否能理解其形式和意義。
設計意圖: 通過閱讀語篇和查找信息活動，幫助學生在語境中正確理解量詞的形式和意義。通過了解他人的購物經歷，積累與購物主題相關的表達，為后續的讀寫模塊做準備。
Step 4 Observing Work in pairs. Read the conversation in Activity 1. Pay attention to the usage of how many and how much. 2. Discuss how to use how many and how much correctly. 觀察學生在討論中的回應和反饋，給予鼓勵和幫助。
設計意圖：通過討論，引起學生的興趣，激活學生的思維。
Step 5 Summariz- ing 1. Complete the table in Activity 2 and learn how to use how many and how much. 2. Check the answers. 3. Summarize the rules of using how many and how much. 4. Work in pairs. Practice the conversation. 觀察學生完成表格的情況，了解其對how many 和how much形式、意義及使用的掌握。

Step 6 Applying Look at the picture in Activity 3 and discuss where they are and what they are doing. Read the conversation in Activity 3 and fill in the blanks with how many and how much. Check the answers. Role play the conversation with the partner.
