1、現(xiàn)在進行時的使用情況。
(1)表示現(xiàn)在(說話時)正在進行或發(fā)生的動作。
e.g. What are you reading now 你在讀什么
Look! The bus is crossing the bridge.看!這輛公共汽車在過橋.
(2)表示當前一段時間內(nèi)的活動或現(xiàn)階段正在進行的動作。
e.g. I'm writing a novel at present.眼下我正在寫一部小說.
They are working in a factory these days.他們這幾天正在工廠勞動.
(3)有些動詞,如come、go、leave、arrive、begin、start 等的現(xiàn)在進行時可表示將要發(fā)生的動作。
e.g. We are leaving on Saturday.我們星期六動身。

變化規(guī)則 示例
大多數(shù)動詞后直接加-ing do—doing sing—singing
以不發(fā)音的e結(jié)尾的動詞,去e,再加-ing take—taking ride-riding
以重讀閉音節(jié)結(jié)尾,且末尾只有一個輔音字母,先雙寫該輔音字母,再加-ing sit—sitting begin—beginning
以ie結(jié)尾的動詞,變ie為y,再加-ing lie—lying tie-tying
