【注意】
1. farther/farthest和further/furthest的區別:二者表示距離時,往往可互換,但是用于引申義,表示程度時,只能使用后者。
eg:He can throw much farther/further than you. 他可以比你扔得遠得多。
4. 兩個事物進行比較的基本結構:
“A + 謂語動詞 + 比較級 + than + B”,表示 “A 比 B 更……”。
eg:My sister is taller than me.我姐姐比我高。
He runs faster than his brother.他跑得比他哥哥快。
比較級前可以用:far(遠), even(甚至), much(許多), still(更,還), a lot(許多), a little / bit(一點), rather(相當地), slightly(略微), three times(三倍)等修飾,用來加強比較的程度,表示 “…… 得多”“甚至更……” 等。
eg:This book is much more interesting than that one.這本書比那本書有趣得多。

【拓展】比較級的其他句型:
①比較級+and+比較級 “越來越……”
eg:The weather is getting colder and colder. 天氣越來越冷。
②the+比較級, the+比較級 “越……,就越……”
eg:The more you practice,the better you get. 你練習得越多,就變得越好。
The harder you work, the better your grades will be.你學習越努力,成績就會越好。
5. 三個及以上事物進行比較的基本結構:
A + 謂語動詞 + the + 最高級 + 比較范圍 A 在…… 中是最…… 的
比較范圍由 of 或 in 來表示,of 后接同類事物的復數名詞或代詞,in 后接比較的范圍或場所。
eg:Tom is the tallest of all the boys.湯姆是所有男孩中最高的。
This is the most expensive dress in the shop.這是商店里最貴的裙子。
【拓展】最高級的其他句型:
可用“one of the+最高級+名詞復數”表示“最……之一”,
