原級用來描述一個/類人或事物，不表示比較；比較級表示兩個/類人或事物之間的比較；最高級表示三個/類或以上人或事物之間的比較。

從例句中可以看出，在對兩者進(jìn)行比較時，形容詞（或副詞）要用比較級形式，即“形容詞(或副詞）比較級+than+比較的對象”。
E.g. Summer is a hotter season than spring.

我們要將三個或三個以上的事物進(jìn)行比較時，要用形容詞（或副詞）的最高級形式來表達(dá)，即“the+形容詞（或副詞）的最高級+比較的范圍”。
E.g. He is the tallest in our class.
She lives (the) closest to school of all my classmates.
Tip： 形容詞最高級前一定要加the，副詞最高級前的the可省略。

形容詞和副詞的比較級變化有一定規(guī)律，分為規(guī)則變化和不規(guī)則變化兩種，并且形容詞和副詞變化規(guī)律大致相同。
