Hi, I'm Li Hua and I live in China!

The giant panda is my favourite animal. I love pandas because they are so cute and unique. They are our national treasure. On 27 October, we celebrate International Panda Day.

Pandas look very different from other animals. They have a round body and a pair of black eyes surrounded by black patches, making them look like they are wearing a pair of black glasses. Their fur is mainly white, but they have black ears, black limbs, and black patches around their eyes and on their body. They are quite chubby and move slowly, which makes them even more adorable.


A reply to Malee
Pandas are like us in some ways. They are very gentle and like to spend most of their time eating and sleeping. They are also quite lazy. For example, they often lie on the ground and enjoy the sunshine. Pandas are very friendly too. They usually don't attack other animals and get along well with their companions in the nature reserves.
Pandas are an important part of Chinese life and culture. However, they are in danger. They mainly live in bamboo forests, but due to human activities, such as building roads and cities, their habitats are getting smaller and smaller. Also, the bamboo forests they rely on for food are sometimes damaged by natural disasters. Let's protect their habitats and support the conservation efforts. Every panda matters.
