both 意為“兩者都”，一般用于肯定的陳述句。與of連用, 作主語時(shí)，其后謂語動(dòng)詞用復(fù)數(shù)形式；作定語時(shí)，其后常跟名詞的復(fù)數(shù)形式。
Eg: Both of the students are always studying hard.
= Both students are always studying hard .
neither 意為“兩者都不或兩者中任何一個(gè)也不”， 表示“ 全
否定”， 與of 連用作主語時(shí)，其后謂語動(dòng)詞用單數(shù)形
式；作定語時(shí)，只修飾可數(shù)名詞的單數(shù)形式。
either 意為“兩者中的任何一個(gè)”，用作主語時(shí), 其后謂語動(dòng)
詞用單數(shù)形式；用作定語時(shí), 只修飾可數(shù)名詞的單數(shù)形式。

本句是一個(gè)反意疑問句。反意疑問句是指在陳述句后附加一個(gè)簡(jiǎn)短問句，用于征詢肯定或否定的意見，或者希望陳述句所說的內(nèi)容得到證實(shí)。
一、反意疑問句的兩種形式:
① 肯定的陳述句＋否定的簡(jiǎn)短問句
② 否定的陳述句＋肯定的簡(jiǎn)短問句
二、反意疑問句的答語:
反意疑問句的答語應(yīng)符合事實(shí)。
事實(shí)是肯定的，用yes；事實(shí)是否定的，用no。
當(dāng)句式是“前否定，后肯定”時(shí)，翻譯要以事實(shí)為依據(jù)，yes翻譯為“不” , no翻譯為“是的”。
