一、定義
獨(dú)立主格結(jié)構(gòu)（Absolute Construction）是英語(yǔ)中的一種語(yǔ)法結(jié)構(gòu)，通常由名詞或代詞加上分詞、形容詞、副詞或介詞短語(yǔ)構(gòu)成，用來(lái)修飾整個(gè)句子，表示時(shí)間、原因、條件、伴隨等情況。它獨(dú)立于主句的主謂結(jié)構(gòu)，但與主句在意義上緊密相關(guān)。
二、結(jié)構(gòu)形式
1. 名詞/代詞 + 現(xiàn)在分詞
例句: The weather being fine, we decided to go for a picnic.
翻譯: 天氣很好，我們決定去野餐。
2. 名詞/代詞 + 過(guò)去分詞
例句: The homework finished, the students went out to play.
