Grammar Focus
形容詞和副詞通常有三種級別：
原級（Positive form）：沒有比較含義，“……”；
比較級（Comparative form）：兩者間比較，“更……”；
最高級（Superlative form）：三者及三者以上比較，“最……”。
一、形容詞、副詞的比較級和最高級
Tips：形容詞最高級前面的the一般不省略，而副詞最高級前的the可以省略。
①直接加 -er 或 -est

②以不發音的字母e結尾的單詞直接加 -r 或 -st
③以“輔音字母+y” 結尾，把y變為i，再加 -er 或- est

1.“比較級+than any other+可數名詞單數”=“比較級+than the other+可數名詞復數”表示“比其他任何……都……”, 表示最高級含義， 可與表示最高級的句子進行轉換。

=My father is taller than any other member in my family.
=My father is taller than the other members in my family.
可用于修飾形容詞和副詞比較級程度的副詞（短語）有：much, a lot, a little, a bit, even, far等。(兩多兩少一甚至，還有一個遠去了。）
二、比較級的用法
2. the +比較級，the + 比較級，“越… 就越…”
越努力越幸運。
The harder you work, the luckier you will be.
3.比較級+and+比較級 “越來越…”
Our country will be stronger and stronger.
Our city is becoming more and more beautiful.
補充：
as +原級+as 與…一樣，not so/as…as… 不及

(1)最高級前有物主代詞、名詞所有格等修飾時，其前不加the。
