My Plans for Summer Holidays
The summer holidays are coming. Most students have their own plans. I also have some plans. After the whole term, I feel very tired, so I plan to relax at home first. I will spend some time playing computer games . I like getting on line. I will chat with my pen friends on the Internet. During the summer holidays, I decide to visit my grandparents. They live in the countryside and I haven’t seen them for a long time. I miss them very much.
After that, I will finish my homework on time. My English is very poor, I want to join an English club to practice my spoken English. Of course, I will make resolutions for the new school year, too.

My hero
My hero is Dr Norman Bethune. He wasn’t Chinese——he was Canadian. He gave his life to helping the Chinese people. He was born in 1890. He became a doctor in 1916. In 1938 he came to China to treat the Chinese soldiers in the mountains north of Yan’an. He worked very hard without stopping to rest. He continued working in spite of cutting his hand during an operation. In the end, he died because he did not stop to take care of his hand.
Dr Bethune’s work with the Chinese soldiers made him a hero in China. He is still remembered in both Canada and China.

My perfect holiday
The summer holiday is coming. I’m very happy. During my holiday, I would go to Qingdao. Qingdao is near to our city, so we would go there by bus. I would go there with my brother. Qingdao is a very beautiful city in the east of China, I especially love the sea water and the beautiful beach. We would stay there for two days. We would swim in the sea, play on the beach and take some photos. We would also do some shopping. I am sure we would have a wonderful time there. Our holiday must be perfect.
八、暑假之后，同學們就要升入九年級了，展望新的學年，你有什么計劃和打算嗎？
My plans for new school year
Time flies, I will become a new student in Junior 3. I will make plans for the new school year. In fact, I am not the best in my class, but I will try hard to study. It takes me too much time to play the computer games, So I will give it up.
I am not good at English. I will ask my English teacher for help. I’m sure she will give me some useful advice. I often make some mistakes in grammar. I will take notes in class and ask my classmates to help me with my English. I will get up early in the morning and read the new words and the texts.
Of course, I will take more exercise(鍛煉). I will keep on running in the morning and playing basketball in my free time. I believe the healthy body is the most important thing for study.
No pains, no gains（不勞無獲）. I will put my heart in study in new school year. I will go for it.
