單元主題:本單元教材以“為別人提供幫助”為中心話題,聯系學生的實際,圍繞著“志愿者公益服務活動和幫助他人”進行學習,注重培養學生樂于助人,熱心公益事業,關愛社會和他人和樂于助人的優秀品質。對應新課標的主題語境是人與自我主題中的第6條優秀品行、正確的生活態度、公民義務與社會責任以及人與社會主題中的第二條公益事業和志愿服務。Section A部分的聽說課,注重學生對基礎語言的理解和掌握,使學生懂得助人為樂不僅能在幫助他人解決問題時提升自己的處事能力,還能使自己和他人感受到互幫互助的愉悅。為后面Section B部分的寫作打下基礎。在Section B聽說和閱讀的基礎上,要求學生結合三月份學習雷鋒月,倡導學生積極踐行學習雷鋒“助人為樂”的品質和精神,要求學生使用本單元中心句型“I’ll help to…/ I could help.../I want to help…”來表達自己的“助人為樂”計劃,做到學以致用。使學生通過表達志愿服務活動,進一步培養學生助人為樂的優秀品質,同時也踐行了社會主義核心價值觀中的友善。學生的創新素養能力在學習雷鋒故事演講和敬老院慰問關愛老人志愿活動中得到充分發展。學生通過這些活動,擁有了慈善和感恩助人的優秀品質,并且能在以后的日常生活中堅持學雷鋒和熱衷公益事業。 主要內容分析: 第一課時Section A 1a-2d聽說練習環節,播放一段初三學生慰問敬老院愛心活動為導入,引出單元主題”offer help”。在知識呈現環節,小組分組競賽,看圖說短語,學習并掌握重點詞匯,為聽力和1c的對話練習做好鋪墊。本課時注重要求學生掌握由目標語言所表達的四種公益活動和考察學生的口語表達和聽說模仿能力,使學生認識到身邊很多人都在學習雷鋒,自己也可以做公益,為社會做貢獻。 第二課時Section A3a-3c閱讀環節,以播放介紹雷鋒同志的短片引入,激發學生的學習興趣。使學生在了解雷鋒精神的基礎上,能激發學生向雷鋒同志學習的積極性。閱讀介紹了兩位美國學生周末的志愿活動和學生們自己對于公益事業的看法。完成閱讀后,使我們自己的學生能夠認識到獻身公益事業的好處,以及促使他們積極投身于社會公益事業,為社會貢獻自己的一份力量,盡自己的一份社會責任。 第三課時Grammar focus4a-1e語法環節,要求學生掌握重點短語和句子,并用目標語言練習表達志愿服務和助人為樂事跡。在語法填空練習環節,特意選取中華優秀傳統美德故事《司馬光砸缸》和《張良拾履》,使學生在練習中,鞏固一般過去時和動詞不定式用法的同時,進一步感受中華優秀傳統美德故事的魅力。激發學生向偉大的歷史人物學習尊老愛幼和助人為樂的高貴品質的動力,也為下一課的寫作練習奠定語法基礎,使學生做到學以致用。 第四課時Section B 2a-2e導入環節,播放導盲犬短視頻,學生在觀看視頻之后,對動物助手中心和導盲犬在盲人的日常生活中的重要性有了初步了解。在學習新單詞和短語之后,以思維導圖的形式呈現速讀和跳讀任務,訓練學生獲取主旨大意和關鍵詞的閱讀技巧和能力。在完成思維導圖任務后,呈現一篇任務型閱讀練習題。要求學生在理解本文的基礎上,填寫恰當的詞語補全句子。該練習注重考察學生對閱讀中重點詞匯和短語的掌握情況,有助于學生更好地理解盲人作者在接收到他人的幫助后的感激之心和想要回饋社會幫助他人的仁愛精神。 第五課時Section B 3a-self check導入環節,設置了free talk活動,要求學生討論自己以往參與過的公益和志愿者活動內容、過程以及收獲。之后再以作文大綱的形式呈現“敬老院志愿服務”作文主體結構,羅列重點短語和參考句型。幫助學生分析說明文的寫作的六要素,并結合本單元的時態和志愿愛心服務主題,逐步完善作文的內容。學生四人一個小組,共同討論活動細節并修改作文中的錯誤。在接下來的展示環節,挑選部分優秀的作文和存在共性錯誤的問題作文,展示并分析這些作文的優點和缺點,是學生進一步掌握該主題作文的寫作技巧。最后呈現一篇優秀范文供學生賞析,要求學生朗誦范文并找出該范文的好詞佳句共自己學習。在寫作的練習中,逐步升華本單元的“幫助他人,投身公益事業”的話題,使學生深刻認識到自己投身公益事業,奉獻社會的重大意義。
主題學情分析
每年三月份的學雷鋒主題月,學校都會組織學生積極參加社會公益和志愿者愛心活動。去年三月學校組織共青團員清明節去固原任山河烈士陵園掃墓,對學生進行了愛國主義教育;去年重陽節,學校組織八年級志愿者前往學校對面的殘疾人康復中心進行慰問和獻愛心活動;今年五四青年節后,學校政教處又組織部分寄宿生對學校周邊的景觀水道進行衛生清潔公益活動。由于大部分都參與過以上的愛心志愿服務,因此,在本單元的口語表達和寫作練習環節,學生均能表達自己的志愿活動。八年級上冊學習過一般將來時,因此在口語表達和寫作環節,大部分學生能使用一般將來時寫作。

本單元的主題是“助人為樂和公益”。是學生比較熟悉又感興趣的話題。因此在設置課堂活動時,我特意設置了許多學生感到新穎又好玩的游戲。既能激勵學生,又能活躍課堂氣氛。在第一課時聽說課,我設置的課堂活動,側重于訓練學生聽說能力。尤其是配音秀活動,學生參與的興致很高,而且完成的情況也很好。在2b的聽后活動,創新地設置了制作公益海報活動。大部分學生尤其喜歡小組合作繪畫,該環節的展示把課堂推向了高潮。在第二課時的導入環節播放疫情期間最美的志愿者短視頻,使學生深刻認識到志愿者們不求回報、舍己為人、甘愿奉獻和助人為樂的高貴品質,他們使我們學習的榜樣。該活動的設置也為后面的記者采訪活動奠定了基礎。在采訪環節,大部分學生均能說出志愿公益活動的重要意義,并能激發學生參與學校組織的其他公益活動的積極性。在語法課練習環節為了加強德育教育,特選取兩篇中華優秀傳統美德故事《司馬光砸缸》和《張良拾履》,要求學生結合所學知識,進一步體會古代人物的高尚品德和助人精神。激勵學生向古人學習,積極幫助身邊的弱小,發揚助人為樂的精神。在第五課時閱讀導入環節,學生在觀看完導盲犬視頻后,也認識到了盲人生活的艱辛和導盲犬的重要作用。大部分學生課后在校園餐廳或教學樓走廊,看到殘疾學生上下樓梯,他們也更熱衷于上前幫忙,獻出愛心。本單元的育人目標很明確,就是要求學生踐行社會主義核心價值觀中的友愛。通過助人為樂和公益活動來履行自己作為一位社會公民應盡的義務。因此在設置課堂活動時,可提前搜集一些以前的公益社團活動照片或公益事跡,既貼近學生的實際生活又能激發學生的學習興趣和動力。再結合學校開展的其他公益活動,使學生在學習知識的同時,創新素養能力得到進一步發展。

本課時話題涉及公益活動與關愛他人。1a活動出示了一張今日志愿者公益宣傳海報,并要求學生添加更多已知的公益活動,旨在呈現舊知識引出新知識。1b聽力環節要求學生學習不同的社會援助方式的英語表述,為詞匯輸入階段;1c-2d活動通過聽、說練習此前所學的詞匯表述,并在聽說訓練過程中體會動詞不定式和短語動詞的用法。
學情分析
學校歷年的三月學習雷鋒月都會組織學生進行公益活動或者志愿服務,旨在要求學生懂得感恩社會,回報社會和助人為樂。大部分學生均參與過類似的活動,比如義務植樹、慰問敬老院和烈士陵園掃墓等公益活動。因此,本課時的1a部分對于學生來說難度不大,學生也比較感興趣。2b小組活動設置制作公益海報,大部分學生的美術功底很好,也能在課前提前準備好畫圖材料。

學校歷年的三月學習雷鋒月都會組織學生進行公益活動或者志愿服務,旨在要求學生懂得感恩社會,回報社會和助人為樂。大部分學生均參與過類似的活動,比如義務植樹、慰問敬老院和烈士陵園掃墓等公益活動。因此,學習完本片閱讀,學生也能深刻認識到從事公益活動的重大意義,并激發學生助人的欲望。

學生身邊或者家庭里有殘疾人,因此大部分學生能很好地理解殘疾人生活的艱辛。殘疾人在日常生活中面臨的困難和不便急需社會上的每個人或者公益組織進行救援服務。結合本課殘疾人公益組織送給了一位雙目失明的殘疾人一條導盲犬,從此改變了殘疾人的生活方式。是殘疾人感受到來自國家和社會的關愛。使更多的殘疾人重拾生活的信心。大部分學生在日常生活在也幫助過身邊的殘疾人。比如幫助殘疾人過馬路,去殘疾人康復中心慰問殘疾老人等等。因此學生能體會到幫助殘疾人的快樂和必要性。本節課所有的活動設置,旨在要求學生懂得感恩社會,回報社會和助人為樂。

四、單元整體評價
單元整體評價
本單元的話題是公益和志愿者服務。學生通過聽說讀寫各方面的訓練后,均能較好地掌握重點詞匯、短語和目標語言,并且能學以致用。本單元結束后,大部分學生比以前更加樂于助人,也更愿意參與到集體志愿服務中來。說明學生的思想境界有了提升,他們不再以個人為中心,而是把個人融入集體;以為集體服務和做出貢獻為榮。在不同的課時練習任務后,學生學會了雷鋒精神和最美志愿者的無私奉獻精神;并且能積極加入各種公益活動中,積極踐行助人為樂的公民義務。本單元的教學設計活動九取得了比較滿意的效果,較好地完成了本單元預設的育人目標。

Period one 1a-2d作業設計
1、本課時作業設計背景說明:
三月份是學習雷鋒月,為倡導學生積極踐行學習雷鋒“助人為樂”的品質和精神,本課時作業要求學生使用本單元中心句型“I’ll help to…/ I could help.../I want to help…”來表達本周末自己的“助人為樂”計劃。使學生通過表達志愿服務活動,培養學生助人為樂的優秀品質。本課時新的詞匯和短語較少,之前學生已經學習并掌握了一般將來時和情態動詞will,can和could的用法,因此,根據學情的不同,采取分層作業布置的方案,作業類型分口頭作業和書面作業。學生通過完成不同層次的作業任務和練習,進一步鞏固和掌握重點短語和動詞不定的用法。
2、作業設計意圖:
由于學情的差異性,本課時的作業布置采取分層設計作業。針對三個層次的學生群體布置了不同的作業任務,這也是一種適合本班當前實際情況的教學模式。不同難度的作業任務,也能為每一個學生創造學習和進步的機會。根據所授內容及不同層次學生的特點,有的放矢地分層來設計布置作業,使每個學生都能提高說的能力和綜合語言的運用能力。分層練習,有助于教師正確把握學生的學習情況,有助于提升課堂教學質量。
A層學生的作業任務,注重考查學生語言知識和語言技能的輸出,為培養學生的創造性思維服務,使學生達成用運所學知識,解決實際生活中的問題的目的。
B層學生的作業任務,旨在考查學生對基礎知識掌握的程度和語言知識理解應用的能力的培養。通過對本課的重點詞語和短語的練習以及聽力的模仿朗讀和復述,不斷提升學生的聽力和口語表達能力,為下一課時的任務開展奠定基礎。
C層學生的作業任務,注重要求學生對本課重點的單詞和短語進行識讀和背誦。學生通過完成較簡單的作業任務,不僅增強他們學習英語的自信心,也能使學生逐步提升學習英語的興趣。

1、本課時作業設計背景說明:
新課標要求發展學生基本的英語聽說讀寫技能,初步形成用英語與他人交流的能力。由于中考改革,英語聽力考試采取“人機對話”模式。為了能更好地使學生適應新題型和新考試模式,要求學生通過日常的英語口語和聽力練習,逐步提高學生的聽力技能、口語技能和朗讀技能。
2、作業設計意圖:
由于學生需要適應英語“人機對話”聽力考試模式,因此本課時的作業重點訓練學生聽力能力和口語表達能力。學生聽力能力主要通過聽對話或短文中的關鍵詞,理解聽力內容,反復練習后再完成相關小題的任務來提升。而口語的表達的能力提升需要學生通過大量地模仿音頻的語音、重讀、連讀和語調等手段逐步提升口語能力。針對不同學生的學情,給學生布置了不同難度的聽力和口語練習任務,使每個學生的聽說能力都得到鍛煉,并逐步提升學生的應試水平和能力。

B層學生的口語聽力作業任務,注重考查學生對基礎聽力試題和本課時的對話練習模仿朗讀和復述。要求學生在聽說練習任務中,模仿短文的音頻對話,把握句子的語音、重讀、連讀和語調,并完成模仿朗讀任務;并在理解對話或短文內容的基礎上,將對話或短文中重點的內容口頭復述出至少2點。
C層學生的口語聽力作業任務,注重要求學生對本課時2a的短文進行跟讀并口頭復述出2個重點詞語。

本單元的主題是“助人為樂”,幫助他人。“仁愛之心,助人為樂”是中華民族的傳統美德,有深厚的歷史文化底蘊,雷鋒精神也是代代相傳。通過本節閱讀課的學習,使學生認識到了作為一名社會主義建設者和接班人,必須具有“助人為樂”的雷鋒精神并且在生活中能夠身體力行去幫助他人的優秀品質。
2、作業設計意圖:
“助人為樂”的中華傳統美德故事不勝枚舉。為了進一步滲透“雷鋒精神”和“仁愛之心”美德教育,本次作業特選取歷史上著名的傳統美德故事《張良拾履》,要求學生通過學習該故事,進一步認識到張良助人為樂的精神和擁有仁愛之心的高尚品質是造就他傳奇一生的根本原因。希望學生也能將“助人為樂” 根植在內心,并身體力行,在生活中去幫助更多需要幫助的人。
