It’s an honor to be here and share with you the trend among a few students---filming short videos on smartphones on campus. To my mind, this practice is actually quite unacceptable.
First of all, it has a negative effect on those who film videos themselves. As high school students have limited time, filming short videos wastes valuable minutes and negatively impacts memory, essential for learning. Besides, it also disrupts the concentration of the fellow students. When someone is filming a video, it often draws the attention of others around them. To address this issue, firstly, we could organize a class meeting where we discuss the potential harms of short videos, thus raising awareness among our peers. Plus, handing phones over to the teachers or parents for safekeeping while we're at school is a good choice.
I hope we all can put our phones away, develop good self-discipline, and fully engage in our school life. Thank you for your attentive listening.

Fully convinced this time, Kevin said guiltily, “ Sorry for the trouble I’ve made.” The man shook his head gently. “ No. You did the right thing.” Then he turned to Mr. Green, “ Sorry I made the trouble too.” He apologized. With the truth unveiled, they all felt relieved and beamed in delight.

范文1：I hurried into the theater, only to find there were even more bikers inside. They were chatting loudly and seemed to fill every corner of the place. My heart sank even further. I quickly found an empty seat in the back row, trying to make myself as inconspicuous as possible. I gripped my bag tightly, constantly glancing around, praying that nothing bad would happen. Every now and then, I peeked at the bikers, wondering what they were doing here. Were they going to cause trouble The tension in the air was evident, and I regretted my decision to come alone.
When the film began, I realized that the bikers were an animal rescue group. They had come to support the fund-raiser for the local animal shelters. As the documentary unfolded, showing the poor condition of the abandoned dogs, I saw many of the bikers wiping away tears. They were as moved as I was by the heartwarming and heartbreaking stories. During the intermission, some of them even came over to me, smiling kindly and asking if I was enjoying the film. Their tough builds hid big, soft hearts. I felt ashamed of my initial/previous fear and was truly grateful that I had decided to come. We spent the rest of the evening sharing our love for animals and discussing ways to help.

The instructor's voice showed it was my turn. He guided me to the edge, telling me to relax. I hesitated, my feet feeling as if they were rooted to the floor. 期中考試： 父親心愛的梳子 Looking at him a while, I took the comb and headed to the sink. All of a sudden, a wave of surprise and familiarity washed over me, which made my eyes misted. Hardly had I turned the tap on when the memories of the past scenes of brushing the comb with a used toothbrush came flooding into my mind, as if they had just happened yesterday. As I washed the comb, I couldn’t help recalling those happy days that I spent with father. After what seemed like an age, the comb got pretty clean.
I handed the clean comb back to Dad. Content and joyful, he looked at it with a broad smile spreading on his face. But it was at this moment that I noticed something different. My dad has aged. He has wrinkles next to his eyes, yet his smile is still as heartwarming as before—the smile of a father who just wants a good life for his family. Dad carefully placed his comb on top of his wallet. After so many years, I guess something never changes---that is love.

With clouds on her face, Wilma sat down at her table, her eyes falling on the book See Dick Run. It reminded her of how much she longed to run like Dick. Since she could walk by herself now, why stop trying A sudden realization washed over her, and her previous anger gave way to confidence and determination. She went out to apologize to her mum for her rude behaviour. Her mum was moved to sweet tears and hugged her for long. From then on, Wilma embraced all the exercises the doctors gave her, determined to make her leg stronger. It wasn't easy, but she kept imagining how wonderful it would be to walk without the brace.
When Wilma was twelve, the doctors decided that her leg was strong enough and that she didn't need the leg brace anymore. Hearing that, so excited was she that she couldn't shed joyful tears. Taking off her heavy brace and shoes and stepping outside, she felt a surge of excitement, as if she were a bird just freed from its cage! And now, she could run like Dick! The next day, Wilma began running to school. She even joined the school's running club, brimming with passion and pride. After that, she trained harder than and began to take part in various races. Looking back on her tough journey, Wilma was amazed at how persevering she was.
