Stacey Delbridge brought her daughter to attend a class with the pigs. “They were funny. Just when you needed a break, a pig would come to see you, and you could quit without looking like a quitter,” Delbridge said.
Rebecca Purchase is a volunteer coordinator of the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals-Angell. She said if animal yoga includes unwanted animals, it may encourage people to give them a home. “Is yoga stressful for animals that join It can be if it’s not the right animal,” Purchase said. “For animals that enjoy socializing, it can be absolutely a benefit.”
