Activity 1 Review
Check the answers of the pre - reading tasks, such as vocabulary - related exercises and questions about space knowledge, to review the background information and activate students' prior knowledge related to space exploration.

Activity 2 Learning about the new language items
1. "It was a totally new experience for me to watch the launch of the Shenzhou XII spacecraft. The moment the rocket rose into the sky, I was filled with excitement."
launch n. & vt.發射；發起；上市。例如：The launch of the new satellite is scheduled for next month.（新衛星的發射定于下個月。）They launched a new advertising campaign to promote their products.（他們發起了一場新的廣告宣傳活動來推廣產品。）
the moment引導時間狀語從句，意為“一……就……”，類似的表達還有the instant, the minute, as soon as等。例如：The moment I saw him, I knew he was the person I was looking for.（我一看到他，就知道他是我在找的人。）
2. "China's space program has made remarkable progress in recent years. It aims to explore more mysteries of space and contribute to the scientific development of humanity."
aim vi. & vt.力求達到；力爭做到；目的是；旨在 n.目標；目的。常見搭配：aim to do sth. 力求做某事；aim at (doing) sth. 旨在（做）某事；with the aim of 帶著……的目的。例如：We aim to finish the project by the end of this month.（我們力求在本月底完成這個項目。）The campaign aims at raising public awareness of environmental protection.（這場運動旨在提高公眾的環保意識。）
