教學(xué)目標(biāo):
1.語(yǔ)言能力:
能夠在談?wù)撔履甑恼Z(yǔ)境中,正確理解和掌握課文中的新詞和用法,如: reunion,involve,crowd,bottom custom等。
2.文化意識(shí):
了解國(guó)內(nèi)外如何慶祝新年,如英國(guó)大本鐘跨年,美國(guó)的降球儀式和埃及的聞風(fēng)節(jié),擴(kuò)展國(guó)際視野,理解新年對(duì)于全人類的共同意義,實(shí)現(xiàn)跨文化交際。
3.思維品質(zhì):
運(yùn)用思維導(dǎo)圖理清四個(gè)不同國(guó)家慶祝新年的時(shí)間和慶祝方式并進(jìn)行對(duì)比,提高思維的邏輯性。
4.學(xué)習(xí)能力:
能夠通過(guò)閱讀有關(guān)新年的文章,保持英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)興趣;了解說(shuō)明文寫作手法,通過(guò)推測(cè),快讀,細(xì)讀,猜詞等閱讀策略的感悟、體驗(yàn)和學(xué)習(xí),增強(qiáng)閱讀理解能力。

學(xué)生能準(zhǔn)確獲取各國(guó)慶祝新年的時(shí)間和習(xí)俗。

通過(guò)視頻和背景介紹,理解文本中各國(guó)的新年文化習(xí)俗,懂得慶祝新年對(duì)各國(guó)人民的共同意義。

Lead-in
Watch a video about spring festival .Present Ss some pictures and lead them to learn something about Chinese New Year.
Presentation
1.Present some basic information of Chinese New Year,such as:
What festival is this?
When is it
How do your family celebrate it?
Name some customs.
Which one is your favourite?
Ask students to think about a question and lead into the reading.

Find out some usefull expresions and take notes.
