1. I’ve run out of it.
run out of = use up “用完、耗盡 ”，句子的主語是人。注意: 不能用于被動語態(tài)。
He ran out of gas a mile from home.
他在離家還有一英里的地方用完了汽油。
We are running out of the gas.
我們的汽油快用完了。
Language points
run out是動副型短語動詞，相當于不及物動詞，表示“被用完了”的被動含義，其主語通常是時間、金錢、食物等無生命名詞。
His money soon ran out.
他的錢很快就花完了。
Food supplies had run out towards the end of the trip.
在旅行快結束時，食物已經吃完了。
2.take after(外貌或行為)像
I take after my mother.
我像我母親。
take after意為“(外貌或行為)像”(相當于be similar to),表示與家中的長輩相像,尤指與父親或母親相像,不能用于進行時。其中after是介詞,其后接名詞或代詞。
Your daughter doesn’t take after you at all.
你女兒一點兒都不像你。

辨析： fix / repair / mend
fix, repair與mend都有“修理；修補”之意，有時可以通用，但也有區(qū)別。
（1）fix與repair都表示使受到一定損壞或失靈的東西恢復其性能或機能，其對象范圍很廣，從道路、機器到日常用品等。
（2）mend常表示修補破損的東西，使其恢復原樣，一般指較小的物品。如: mend the shoes / the windows 等。
