2. time在此意為“倍數,次數”。表示三倍或三倍以上時使用。many times more than 意為“比……多很多倍”

倍數的表達方法
“A+謂語動詞+倍數+形容詞/副詞的比較級+
than +B”表示“A比B……多少倍”
“A+謂語動詞+倍數+as+形容詞/副詞的原級+as + B”表示“A是B的多少倍……”。
“A+謂語動詞+倍數+the height / weight / length …+of + B ”表示“A的高度/重量/長度……是B的多少倍”。
3.A panda can live up to 20 to 30 years.
up to到達(某數量、程度等);至多有;不多于。其中to為介詞，后接名詞作賓語。up to 的相關短語 ：up to now直到現在go up to 走到，走上前 run up to 跑到（某人面前）be up to 由某人決定 live up to指“活到……歲”。
e.g. 房間里多達20人。
