上面對話中需要重讀的詞有疑問詞(what、when)、實義動詞(do、walk、like、play、love、meet、let)、名詞(dog、footbal、sports、park、clock)、副詞(yes、sure)等，一般會弱讀的詞有冠詞(the)、助動詞(are、am)、情態動詞(would、shall)、人稱代詞(you、I、me、we)、介詞(with、at)等。
