考點 1：fit /f t/ adj. 健康的；健壯的 v. 適合
【用法】
fit 作形容詞，意為“健康的”，同義詞是 healthy，第三人稱單數形式是 fits。
通常放在 be, look, keep, stay... 等詞的后面。
fit 還可作動詞，意為“適合”，既可作及物動詞，也可作不及物動詞，一般不用于進行時態。其主語通常是表示衣服、鞋襪等的名詞或代詞。
fit 作形容詞，還有“(質量、素質或技能) 適合的、合格的”的意思，
be fit for 適合…… fit 還可作動詞，意為“安裝，安置”。
【例句】
He often does sports, so he looks very fit.
他經常做運動，因此看起來很健康。
This pair of shoes fits you well. 這雙鞋很適合你。
Your dress fits well. 你的連衣裙很合身。
These books are fit for the children under 10.
這些書適合 10 歲以下的孩子們。

考點 2：hardly /'hɑ dli/ adv. 幾乎不；幾乎沒有
【用法】
hardly 否定副詞，“幾乎不”，在句中位于be動詞、助動詞、情態動詞之后，行為動詞之前。用來強調某種情況發生的可能性非常小或者某種行為的程度很低。本身具有否定意義，用于否定句時不再使用其他否定詞。
常構成短語 hardly ever，表示頻度，意為“幾乎從不”。
考點 2：hardly /'hɑ dli/ adv. 幾乎不；幾乎沒有
【例句】
He could hardly speak. 他幾乎說不出話來。
I hardly ever practise running. 我幾乎從不練習跑步。
She works very hard. 她工作很努力。
It rained hard last night.

辨析：hardly 與 hard hardly 副詞 意為“幾乎不”，表示否定含義。
hard 副詞 意為“努力地；猛烈地”。
形容詞 意為“困難的；堅硬的”。
hardly 一詞與 hard 沒有任何關系，并不是其變化形式。
考點 3：once /w ns/ adv. 一次；曾經 conj. 一旦
【用法】
once 作副詞，意為“一次”。常用來回答 how often 的提問。
e.g. once a week 一周一次；once a month 一月一次；once a year 一年一次
英語中“一次”為 once; “兩次”為 twice;“三次或三次以上” 用“基數詞 + times”,
e.g. three times，five times。
once 作副詞，還可意為“曾經”，表示不確定的時間，常用于一般過去時。
一般位于行為動詞之前，系動詞之后。
once 常用于講故事中，意為“從前”。
at once 固定短語，意為“立刻；馬上”

【用法】
twice adv. 意為“兩次”。
twice a week 意為“每周兩次”，表示頻率。常用 how often 來提問。
think twice 意為“再三考慮”。
twice 作副詞，還可意為“兩倍”。
常用于句型：主語 +be / 實義動詞 + twice + as + 形容詞/ 副詞+ as +...。
考點 4： twice /twa s/ adv. 兩次；兩倍
【例句】
I go to the gym twice a week. 我每周去兩次健身房。
Mary always thinks twice before making any important decision.
瑪麗在做出任何重要決定之前總是再三考慮。
Think twice before you do. 三思而后行。
This house is twice as big as that one.

考點 5：mine /ma n/ pron. 我的
【用法】
mine 是名詞性物主代詞，它具有名詞的性質，表示物品的所屬關系，可作主語、賓語、表語等，同樣的單詞還有：yours, hers, his, ours, theirs, its。
名詞性物主代詞相當于形容詞性物主代詞加上名詞。
知識小結：第一人稱的單數形式：
① I 主格，作主語 me 賓格，作賓語、表語
② my 形容詞性物主代詞，作定語
③ mine 名詞性物主代詞，作表語、賓語、主語
④ mine 還可以作名詞用，意為“礦”。
考點 5：mine /ma n/ pron. 我的
【例句】
This book is mine. =This is my book. 這本書是我的。
There is a mine in our village. 在我們村有一個礦。
考點 6：maybe /'me bi/ adv. 也許；大概
辨析：maybe 與 may be maybe 副詞，意思是“或許；大概；可能”，表示不確定，在句中作狀語，可以放在句首、句尾，也可以單獨使用。
may be may 是情態動詞，may be 是“情態動詞+ 動
詞原形”結構，在句中作謂語，意為“可能是”。
合并作狀語，分開作謂語。舍 maybe 仍有意，丟 may be 可不成。
考點 6：maybe /'me bi/ adv. 也許；大概
【例句】
Maybe he is right. 或許他是對的。
He maybe wants to stay here. 他或許想留在這兒。
He may be at home. = Maybe he is at home. 他可能在家。
考點 7：keep fit 保持健康
【用法】
keep + adj. 保持……
keep + sb./sth. + adj. 使某人/ 某物保持某種狀態
keep(sb./sth.) doing sth. 讓(某人/ 某物) 一直做某事
keep 還可意為“保留”，及物動詞。 keep sth. 保留某物
考點 7：keep fit 保持健康
【例句】
It is very important for us to keep fit.
對于我們來說，保持健康很重要。
Keep quiet, please. 請保持安靜！
To keep cool, he keeps the fan working all the time.
為了保持涼爽，他讓風扇一直轉。
She was sad and kept crying. 她很難過，一直在哭泣。
He still keeps your photo. 他依然保留著你的照片。
考點 8：hardly ever 幾乎從不
【用法】 hardly ever 表頻率，其表達的含義與“almost never”相近。其中“ever”為副詞，意為“在任何時間，從來；曾經”，起強調作用。
【例句】
I hardly ever eat such delicious food.
我幾乎從未吃過這么好吃的食物。
He hardly ever gets up so early.
他幾乎從沒有起這么早過。
考點 9：how often 多久一次；多長時間一次
【用法】how often 多久一次，用來提問動作發生的頻率。
常用表示頻率的詞或短語作答。
由 how 構成的其他疑問短語的用法：

how far 多遠 提問距離， 指路程的遠近 one kilometer、10 minutes’
walk 等表示距離的短語

【句型結構分析】
此句是Whose 引導的特殊疑問句。Whose 在此作限定詞，意為“誰的”，放在名詞前作定語，一般用于談論物品的所屬關系。
考點 10：Whose baseball glove is it 這是誰的棒球手套？
辨析：whose 與 who’s 相同點 不同點
whose 發音 一樣 whose 作定語，后面既可以跟名詞單數，也可以跟名詞復數，系動詞要與名詞單復數保持一致。
who’s who’s 是 who is 的縮寫，意思是“誰是”。
【句型結構分析】
Whose 引導的特殊疑問句的基本句型結構是“Whose + 名詞 + 系動詞 +主語 ”。回答通常用名詞性物主代詞(mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs, its) 或名詞所有格(Li Ming’s...) 。
對物主代詞或名詞所有格提問通常用whose。
(1) 被提問部分作定語時，用“Whose + 名詞+系動詞+主語？”提問。
(2) 被提問部分作表語時，用“Whose +系動詞+主語？”提問。
