語篇分析 What: 本課時由John一家的旅行展開，引出天氣預報展示了不同地點的不同天氣。引導學生關注全球氣候變化。語篇通過John的爸爸要去世界各地出差，John的媽媽正在和他一起收拾行李和收聽世界天氣預報，學生通過聽聽力完成表格，學習核心單詞的詞性和詞義。Why: 本課時通過天氣這一日常話題，在平常的話題中讓學生輕松學習到本單元這一部分所涉及的內容。不僅讓學生了解到了不同地點有不同的天氣，更能夠將語言在日常生活中進行簡單的運用。How: 本課時的情境是比較典型的學生日常生活畫面，涉及介紹天氣的詞匯，有hot and sunny；cloudy；windy；snowy ；rainy；交流天氣的核心語言，如What’s the weather like in ……？It’s……通過這一情景讓學生們認識學會詢問天氣并會簡單的對話練習。在語篇中再次感知單詞的語用和語義，詢問或描述某地天氣情況：What’s the weather like in... It’s rainy/... Is it cold/... Yes, it is./No, it isn’t. 學生通過模仿天氣預報員描述世界各地的天氣情況，了解世界不同的氣候，了解中西方對氣溫描述時的差異。
教學目標教學重點、難點 學習理解：在語境中，根據單詞的音、形、義學習詞匯：sunny, windy, cloudy, rainy, snowy等，并能正確對天氣進行描述。應用實踐：能夠正確運用句型Here's the weather report. What's the weather like in ____ It's _____.等句型進行簡單的天氣播報以及如何詢問并回答天氣情況。遷移創新：完成play部分，并通過小組活動等鞏固句型和短語，根據圖片內容和創編的故事文本進行天氣的介紹，能夠簡單進行交流。

設計意圖：本階段學習活動旨在幫學生在語境中理解學習內容，學習核心詞匯和核心語言。學生在教師的指導下看圖預測對話內容，在跟讀模仿中模仿正確的語音語調，內化語言，為語言輸出奠定基礎。

設計意圖：本階段學習活動引導學生在游戲中鞏固知識。特別是重點語句，在游戲中不知不覺完成知識的學習。
