right now現在；立刻
Point
1.What are you doing right now （教材 P34 Section A標題）
right now現在；立刻 相當于now或at the moment,常與一般現在時或現在進行時連用。
如：Tom isn’t at home right now.湯姆現在不在家。
My family are having dinner right now.
我們一家此刻正在吃晚飯。
【拓展】right now還可意為“馬上；立即”，相當于 right away/at once。
如： I’ll do it right now.我馬上就做。

2.riding a bike (教材P34 1a)
(1) 作動詞，意為“騎” ，其過去式為rode，現在分詞為riding。
如：You need a good sense of balance to ride a bicycle.
你騎自行車需要有良好的平衡感。
Can you ride a horse 你會騎馬嗎？
(2) 作可數名詞，意為“（乘車或騎車的）短途旅程” 。
go for a ride 去兜風
give sb. a ride 捎某人一程
如：I can give you a ride, and then we can go for a ride by car.
我可以捎你一程，然后我們可以開車去兜風。
moment / m m nt/ n.某個時刻；片刻；瞬間

3. What are you doing at the moment (教材P34 1d)
(1)at that moment 在那時（常與過去時連用）,at this/the moment 現在；此刻（常與一般現在時或現在進行時連用）
如：At that moment, the phone rang.那時，電話鈴響了。
He is working in the garden at the moment.
此刻他正在花園里勞作。
(2) 作名詞，意為“片刻；瞬間”，in a moment 馬上，很快 after a moment/a moment later 過了一會兒 wait/just a moment 等一下a moment ago 剛才
如：Wait a moment! I’ll be back in a moment.等一下！我一會兒就回來。
The bedroom light went out after a moment.臥室的燈片刻后熄滅了。
She was here a moment ago.她剛才還在這兒。
work on 做；從事
Point
4. I’d love to, but I’m working on something important. (教材P34 1d)
work on 意為“做；從事”，后接名詞、代詞或動詞-ing作賓語。
如：Let’s have a rest and work on the plan tomorrow morning, shall we
我們休息一下，明天早上再做計劃，好嗎？
The doctors are still working on treating the patient.
醫生們仍在努力治療這個病人。
【拓展】(1) work on還可意為“對……起作用/有影響”。
如：Teachers’ words can often work on their students.
老師的話常常能夠影響學生。
(2) work out算出；解決；計劃
如：I’m afraid that we can’t work out the math problem unless the teacher helps us.除非老師幫助我們，否則我們恐怕算不出這道數學題。
