本本單元是人教版英語(yǔ)(三年級(jí)起點(diǎn))六年級(jí)下冊(cè)第四單元，本單元學(xué)習(xí)的主題是“Then and now”。本單元的學(xué)習(xí)主題是談?wù)撨^(guò)去和現(xiàn)在的變化，學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)、理解和運(yùn)用一般過(guò)去時(shí)、 一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)和一般將來(lái)時(shí)三種時(shí)態(tài)描述事物和人物的變化。本單元的教學(xué)重點(diǎn)在于讓學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)使用過(guò)去和現(xiàn)在兩種時(shí)態(tài)進(jìn)行對(duì)比描述，并能熟練地將其運(yùn)用在實(shí)際生活中，會(huì)用所學(xué)詞匯及句型談?wù)摶蛎枋鰧?duì)比事物和人物的今昔，通過(guò)不同的場(chǎng)景，使學(xué)生在真實(shí)的英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言情境中更好地感知、體驗(yàn)和操練; 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生感受變化無(wú)處不在，感受自身的變化，感受社會(huì)的變化。引導(dǎo)人要積極應(yīng)對(duì)變化，享更變化。 六年級(jí)學(xué)生對(duì)于學(xué)校、外貌、性格、愛(ài)好的話題并不陌生，他們已在五年級(jí)學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)一些與外貌、性格、能力相關(guān)的單詞，為本單元話題的學(xué)習(xí)提供了一定的基礎(chǔ)。但是，他們對(duì)周圍環(huán)境的改變以及自身的變化并不敏感，并且對(duì)于如何使用動(dòng)詞過(guò)去時(shí)態(tài)進(jìn)行描述比較陌生。因此，應(yīng)主動(dòng)引導(dǎo)學(xué)生主動(dòng)了解個(gè)人的成長(zhǎng)，環(huán)境的變化，社會(huì)的發(fā)展以及其中的關(guān)聯(lián)，讓其接納的自己的變化，初步形成緊跟社會(huì)發(fā)展的意識(shí)。引導(dǎo)學(xué)生積極看待自己以及身邊的變化，從而認(rèn)識(shí)自我、完善自我以及豐富自我，了解世界的變化，為守護(hù)地球家園做力所能及的事情。
二、單元整體設(shè)計(jì)思路

語(yǔ)篇研讀（附圖）
本節(jié)課是閱讀篇， 本課時(shí)的主題意義是通過(guò)Wu Binbin的夢(mèng)境展開(kāi)學(xué)習(xí)。Wu Binbin和爸爸以及Max有一場(chǎng)賽跑，但是Wu Binbin跑得不快，他非常擔(dān)憂，Robin 給他喝了一瓶水后感覺(jué)好多了，他在第二場(chǎng)比賽中跑得跟獵豹一樣快，他馬上就要贏得比賽了，突然他絆倒摔了下去，他醒了，原來(lái)這就是一場(chǎng)夢(mèng)，他跟媽媽分享了他的夢(mèng)境，媽媽也跟Wu Binbin分享了她的一個(gè)好夢(mèng)。從而激發(fā)學(xué)生在真實(shí)的語(yǔ)言情境中來(lái)運(yùn)用一般過(guò)去時(shí)描述過(guò)去某件事及感受體驗(yàn)等等。讓學(xué)生感知本節(jié)課句型的語(yǔ)義及語(yǔ)用情景。能根據(jù)課文給圖片排序，補(bǔ)全對(duì)話，并模仿描述自己的夢(mèng)等。
