學情分析
本本單元是人教版英語(三年級起點)四年級下冊第四單元,本單元主題是“At the farm” ,本單元通過農場里各種動物以及農作物的學習,從而展現了農場中繽紛多彩的生活。主要通過展示學生參觀農場的情景,學習部分蔬菜和動物的單詞sheep, hen, cow, horse, goat, lamb及其復數形式的表達;學習如何詢問這些動、植物的名稱和數量。能夠運用What are these They are ... They are so ...和句型Are these ...Yes, they are. / No, they aren't.來詢問和描述事物的特點,How many…do you have?詢問數量,要求學生能用本單元的句型與單詞進行有關農場里各種動物和各種農作物的表達。雖然單元主題與學生的實際生活相隔甚遠,但其內容與學生的日常生活聯系緊密。四年級的學生,學生已有的相關背景知識有顏色單詞、體形外貌形容詞、數詞等,這些背景知識結合本單元的蔬菜和動物整合運用,通過知識的不斷滾動形成知識鏈。在教學過程中,對于學習困難的學生,可通過請學生復述老師的話或是復述同學的回答,讓學生對老師和同學的發言引起注意,讓學生意識到要仔細聽別人的說話。對于學習還不錯,但是不愿或害怕發言的學生,課堂中教師主動請他們表達其意見,培養他們良好的學習英語的習慣。充分運用英語名、英文歌、兒歌、繞口令、順口溜、謎語等,給予小學生語言感染的機會。還可開展各種活動,鼓勵學生交際,激發學生學習英語的興趣,培養學生靈活運用語言的能力。
二、單元整體設計思路
本單元通過農場里各種動物以及農作物的學習,從而展現了農場中繽紛多彩的生活。圍繞單元主題,深挖各課時話題。本單元要學習的核心詞匯:tomato-tomatoes, potato-potatoes, carrot-carrots, green bean-green beans,horse-horses, cow-cows, hen-hens, sheep-sheep等 。在單元主題意義的引領下,以“At the farm” 為主題,教師創設貼近學生學習生活的真實情境,設計層層深入的教學活動,帶領學生通過觀察、探究、體驗等方式學習有關“如何詢問這些動、植物的名稱和數量”等的交際用語。語篇核心詞匯核心句型學習內容學習時長學習目標A talkthese, yum1.What are these 2. 語篇研讀(附圖)
本節課是閱讀和故事篇, 閱讀篇的主題意義是設計宣傳海報而展開。通過Mike 視角,以海報的形式呈現農場里的植物園和動物園,結合主情景圖介紹 Mr MacDonald's farm,從而展現了農場中繽紛多彩的生活。故事篇通過講述Zip帶領Zoom參觀自家的農場, Zip向Zoom介紹了農場里的蔬菜、奶牛、母雞、綿羊等,但是Zoom卻對它們都不感興趣, Zoom喜歡牛奶、雞蛋、雞肉和羊肉串。到了中午的時候,它們坐在草垛里休息,并-起用稻草做了一 個帽子,但是最后Zoom的帽子被奶牛當作食物吃掉了。故事通過它們之間的對話突出了Zoom憨態可掬的形象,故事結局出人意料,趣味性很強。 從而把整個單元中的詞匯句型連接起來, 在情境中運用詞匯和句型。
