時間的表達分為直接表達與間接表達兩種方式:
(1)直接表達：小時+分鐘
e.g4:30 four thirty
1:00 one o'clock (整點鐘后加o'clock)

①半點鐘前(包括半點鐘)用"分鐘+past +小時"
e.g. 3:25 twenty-five past three,
3:30 half past three
②半點鐘后用"(60-分鐘)+to+(小時+1)"
e.g. 3:35 twenty-five to four, 5:45 a quarter to six
