1.概念
 祈使句用于表達命令、勸告、警告、禁止等語氣。祈使句中一般省略主語,句末用感嘆號或句號,肯定結構常以動詞原形開頭。

3. 祈使句的否定句式

情態動詞can、must與have to
1. can
(1)表示許可。can表示許可時,是may在非正式場合的替代詞,可用于肯定句、否定句和疑問句中。否定形式cannot (can't)意為“不能,不可以”,語氣比must not(mustn't)弱。
You can't put the sugar first. 你不能先放糖。(沒有禁止的含義)
(2)表示能力。can表示能力時(即有某種知識和技能而能辦到),可與be able to互換,但在將來時和完成時中必須用be able to結構。
Li Wei can sing this song well. 李薇能唱好這首歌。(3)一般情況下,以can開頭的一般疑問句,肯定回答用can,否定回答用can't。

2. must
(1)表示“必須,一定要”,側重主觀看法,可用于肯定句、否定句和疑問句中。
(2)其否定形式為must not(mustn't),表示禁止,意為“一定不要,不準,不可”,是強有力的勸告或命令。

Cars must not park in front of the entrance. 車輛不得停在入口處。
(3)由must引導的一般疑問句,肯定回答用must,否定回答用needn't/don't have to,表示“不必,沒有必要”。

區別 例句
must側重于說話者的主觀看法
,認為有必要或有義務去做某事;have to側重于客 觀需要,含有“不得不”之意。 You must be back before 10 o'clock.你必須在十點之前返回。(叮囑或命令)
You have to be back before 10 o'clock because the train is to leave at 10:05.你必須十點之前返回,因為火車十點五分開。(客觀需要)
否定形式不同 You mustn't say things like that. 你千萬別說那樣的話。

must沒有人稱、時態 和數的變化,而have to有。 The old man has to live alone because his son works in another city. 那位老人不得不獨自生活,因為他的兒子在另一個城市工作。

(2)sometimes、often、usually可放在句首或句末。
