一、并列連詞
分類 連　詞 例　句
并 列 關(guān) 系 and 和;與 I like bread and milk. 我喜歡面包和牛奶。
both...and... ……和……都 Both Tom and Jim are in China.湯姆和吉姆都在中國。
not only...but also...不但…… 而且…… Not only you but also Bill is from the USA. 不但你而且比爾也來自美國。
neither...nor 既不……也不…… Neither Nick nor Ann likes the book. 尼克和安都不喜歡這本書。
轉(zhuǎn) 折 關(guān) 系 but但是 I failed, but I won’t give up.我失敗了,但是我不放棄。
while然而 I like spring,while Tom likes winter. 我喜歡春天,而湯姆喜歡冬天。
因 果 關(guān) 系 for因為 The days are long, for it is May now.白天長,因為現(xiàn)在是五月份。
so因此;所以 I like the book, so I will buy it.我喜歡這本書,所以我要買下它。
選 擇 關(guān) 系 or或者 Do you like apples or pears 你喜歡蘋果還是梨
either...or... 或者…… 或者…… Either you or Tom is right. 要么你對,要么湯姆對。
【溫馨提示】
1.兩對“冤家對頭”不能同時出現(xiàn)在一個句子中:從屬連詞although/though與并列連詞but;從屬連詞because與并列連詞so。
2.通常情況下,肯定句中用and,否定句中用or。否定句中如果用and,需要重復(fù)否定詞。如:
He has brothers and sisters.他有兄弟姐妹。
He has no brothers or sisters.
=He has no brothers and no sisters.
他既沒有兄弟,也沒有姐妹。
二、從屬連詞
1.引導(dǎo)賓語從句的從屬連詞:that、if、whether。如:
I know that the puppy is very clever.
我知道這只小狗很聰明。
We don’t know if/whether it will rain tomorrow. 我們不知道明天是否下雨。
2.引導(dǎo)狀語從句的從屬連詞
時 間 when,whenever,as,while,before,after,until,till,since, as soon as I was watching TV when she came back. 當(dāng)她回來的時候,我正在看電視。
地 點 where,wherever Bob would like to go wherever he likes.鮑勃想去他喜歡的任何地方。
原 因 as,because,since He isn’t at school because he is ill. 他沒在學(xué)校因為他生病了。
目 的 so that,in order that I came here so that I can see her. 我來這兒是為了能看見她。
結(jié) 果 so/such...that... It’s such a good movie that I’d like to see it again. 它是這么好的一部電影以至于我想再看它一次。
條 件 if,unless We won’t give it up unless we run out of time. 我們不會放棄它,除非我們用盡時間。
讓 步 although/though,even though, however, whatever Although he is young,he knows a lot about China. 雖然他很年輕,但他知道很多關(guān)于中國的事情。
比 較 than, as...as... My cousin is as old as I am. 我的表親和我一樣大。
方 式 as You must do as the teacher told you. 你必須按老師告訴你的做。
