一、不定冠詞
1.不定冠詞a與an的不同用法

【助記】
冠詞a、an兩種帽,許多名詞都需要。
開頭讀音若是元,要把an帽來挑選。
讀音開頭若是輔,一定要把a來套。
用　法 示　例
(1)用在第一次提到的人或物之前 This is book. 這是一本書。
(2)泛指人或事物的某一類別 dictionary is important study thing. 詞典是一件重要的學習用品。
(3)指某人或某物,但不具體指明是哪人或哪物 friend in need is friend indeed. 患難見真情。
(4)用在重量、長度、時間等單位名詞前,表示“每一” Take the medicine three times day. 這種藥每天吃三次。
(5)用于某些固定短語中 have look看一看 in hurry匆忙地 lot of許多

二、定冠詞
定冠詞the表示某個或某些特定的人或事物,相當于漢語中的“這個,那個”或“這些,那些”的意思。其基本用法如下:
用　法 示　例
特指某(些)人或某(些)事物 man is a doctor. 這個人是一位醫生。
指談話雙方都知道的人或事物 Look at blackboard, please. 請看黑板。
用來特指上文已經提到的人或物 I have a pen. pen is black.我有一支鋼筆。這支鋼筆是黑色的。
用于序數詞、形容詞的最高級前 first boy is Tom. 第一個男孩是湯姆。 Bill is tallest. 比爾是最高的。
用于樂器類的名詞前 Can you play piano 你會彈鋼琴嗎
用于表示世界上獨一無二的事物的名詞前 moon月球 earth地球 sun 太陽 sky天空
用于某些形容詞前, 表示一類人 rich 富人 young 年輕人
用于“the+比較級,the+比較級” you eat, you will be. 你吃得越多,你就會越胖。
姓氏復數前加the,表示一家人或夫婦兩人 Smiths史密斯一家人
用于一些固定詞組中 in morning 在早上 on left 在左邊

特指雙熟悉,上文已提及,
世上獨一無二,序數最高級。
形容詞前一類人,特殊用法特殊記。
三、零冠詞
零冠詞就是在名詞前不使用冠詞,主要有以下幾種情況。
用　法 示　例
國家、城市、人名等專有名詞前不用冠詞 China、Beijing、Li Ming
可數名詞復數和不可數名詞表示一類人或事物時,不用冠詞 are useful animals. 馬是有用的動物。 is beyond price.好建議是無價之寶。
學科、語言、球類運動、棋牌類游戲或表示三餐的名詞前不用冠詞 I can . 我會打籃球。 Can you 你會下象棋嗎 We at school. 我們在學校吃午飯。
表示年、月、星期、季節的名詞前不用冠詞 Trees turn green . 樹在春天變綠。 He was born . 他出生在六月。 It’s today. 今天是星期天。
前面已有物主代詞、指示代詞或不定代詞作定語的名詞前不用冠詞 Here are . 這里有些蘋果。 This is . 這是我們的第一節課。
某些習語或固定詞組中的名詞前不用冠詞 by train 乘火車 go to school 去上學 in surprise驚奇地 at table在進餐

代詞限定名詞前,專有名詞不可數,
學科球類三餐飯,四季星期月份前,
顏色語種和國名,稱呼習語和頭銜。
