一、背景分析【課標要求】

【教材分析】
3a-3b作為單元寫作板塊，要求學生思考一種目己愿意創造的及明，紹和推銷自己的發明。活動3a讓學生先列出自己想要解決的困難、發明的名稱和用途。這個寫作設計既能激發學生思考寫作內容，還是對發明靈感往往來自解決生活中困難的實際需求的說明。3b要求學生寫一段話向同學推薦自己的發明。在本單元寫作教學中，建議教師鼓勵學生大膽想象，放開思維。在寫作中，要求學生盡量用本單元所學的重點單詞、詞組和句型來描述自己的發明，寫清楚發明的時間、地點、發明過程和用途等內容，同時，在情感態度上，鼓勵學生保持對科學發明探索的興趣。
【學情分析】
本課時是第5課時。之前在本單元前個課時也反復訓練了與此相關的句型。這也為本課的學習及在真實情境中解決問題打下了基礎。九年級大部分學生能夠做到課前預習，能夠獨立思考，具備在教師和小組交流中積極思考，但是仍有少數學生不具備基本的預習能力以及缺乏思考問題的條理性、深度、嚴謹性。
學習目標
1．通過復習閱讀課內容，讀前活動練習，做好寫作準備。
2．通過教師的引導，完成相關的寫作內容，進行師生、生生共同評價，讓學生學會評判一篇作品的優劣。
3．通過self-check中的題目練習，完成一般過去時的被動語態相關的題目。

一、背景分析
【課標要求】

3.能在教師的指導下參與活動。 4.能根據學過的對話進行填空，理解大意。
【教材分析】
本節課帶領學生了解了籃球的歷史、發展以及籃球這項運動編輯世界各地，深受人們喜愛的情況。 這樣的設置能夠讓學生產生親近感，避免了學習的枯燥性，同時在課堂活動中也可以增進學生之間的交流和協作，學會尊重不同的文化的差異。
【學情分析】
就本課內容而言，學生在Unit 5的學習中，已經掌握一些被動語態知識，但在使用上還是不太熟練。本單元的話題是談論發明，本節課的話題是籃球的發明，對于籃球學生是非常感興趣的。根據圖片和文字易觀察、易描述，這將降低學生的學習難度。九年級的學生能很好的融入到小組合作中，有合理的分工，在同學有疑問和困難時能伸出援手，共同解決，并且能夠借助圖書館或網絡上的學習資源查找有關風俗、習慣的資料。
【學習目標】
1.通過預習單詞和短語，能正確寫出本課重點詞匯和詞組。

一、背景分析

5.能就簡單的話題提供信息，表達簡單的觀點和意見，參與討論。

【教材分析】
本節課學習的話題是“發明”，介紹我們日常生活中一些常見物品的發明歷史。如：電視 、電話、拉鏈等，包括它們被發明的時間、被什么人發明及其作用或發展等內容；從語言結構上，需要學習被動語態的過去時。單元主題圖由四幅小圖組成，呈現是現代生活中的常見用品：電話、電視、電腦 、小汽車。活動1a-1c是整個Section A 的基礎。活動1a 要求學生使用 I think it was invented before / after … 的句型討論圖中發明出現的先后順序。聽力材料中輸入了本單元的重要語言結構It was invented by.聽力難度適中，生單詞較少，學生很容易理解，在口語對話中強調運用具體的語境，在情境中展開對話題的討論，鞏固單詞和語法點的運用，有利于學生的掌握。活動2a-2d側重聽說互動，是對單元話題的深化和拓展。2a要求學生聽對話談論三項小發明，并按所聽順序為其排序； 2b需要學生聽懂發明的用途，補全表格。2c要求學生結伴談論聽力中發明的用途。2d作為示范性對話，介紹了日常生活中隨處可見的小發明——拉鏈，它的發明者、發明時間以及開始被廣泛使用的時期等信息。
【學情分析】
學生在九年級Unit 5 已經初步學習一般現在時的被動語態，即 am/is/are + 過去分詞。本單元是對被動語態的深化學習，延伸到一般過去時的被動語態。即 was / were + 過去分詞。語法知識可以形成正遷移，有利于學生掌握本單元重難點。另外，本單元的話題生動有趣，學生有相關的背景知識，有利于學習任務的推進。
