attend,join,join in與take part in均意為“參加”,具體區別如下：
考點 用法
attend 正式用語,意為“參加；出席”,指參加會議/婚禮/葬禮/典禮、上課、上學、聽報告等
join 指加入某個黨派、團體組織等,成為其中一員,如參軍、入團、入黨等
和某人一起做某事,其結構為：join sb.in doing sth.
join in 多指參加小規模的活動,如球賽、游戲等
take part in 指參與某一群眾性活動,著重說明句子主語參加該項活動并在活動中發揮作用

考點 含義及用法
across 意為“穿過”,指從物體的表面穿過,著重指從一邊到另一邊。常用短語：go/walk/run across…＝cross(v.)…穿過/走過/跑過……；across from在……的對面
through 意為“從……穿過”,主要是指從物體的內部空間穿過
along 意為“沿著”,指沿著一條直線水平方向向前移動。如：go along the street沿街走
over 意為“(表示方向)越過；(部分或全部覆蓋)在……上面”；還可作副詞,意為“結束”
