Taylor Swift has finished the European part of her Eras Tour with a record-breaking show at Wembley
Stadium. It was packed full of surprises there. It was Swift’s eighth concert at Wembley this summer —
overtaking (超過) a record for any solo singer. The record was previously held by Michael Jackson during his Bad
Tour in 1988.
“You just made me the first solo artist to ever play Wembley eight times in a single tour,” she told her fans.
“We will never, ever be able to thank you enough for it.”
The star’s eighth Wembley show also saw her equal the overall record for the most nights at the stadium on
a single tour, set by Take That on their Progress Tour in 2011.
The London dates marked a high point, with Swift playing there more times than any other city on her tour.
“I’ve always loved playing for you here in London, but this is the best,” she said. “I’ve never had it this good
before. I’ve never had a crowd that’s so generous. You seem to have remembered every single lyric of every
single song and that’s a dream come true.”
She made the final show count. She invited Florence Welch of Florence + The Machine, the lead singer of a
famous British rock band. Apart from that, she played two “surprising songs”. They weren’t a regular part of the
setlist. Swift then continued the acoustic set (原生演奏) at her piano, with the first live performance of So Long,
London, from her latest album The Tortured Poets Department.
The tour is a big success and here is the big question: What will Swift do then
1.How many times did Taylor Swift have a concert at Wembley
2.When did Take That have their Progress Tour
3.What does the underlined word “dream” refer to
4.Who is Florence Welch
5.What made Swift’s final show special (Please list at least two points)

Tour in 1988.
“You just made me the first solo artist to ever play Wembley eight times in a single tour,” she told her fans.
“We will never, ever be able to thank you enough for it.”
The star’s eighth Wembley show also saw her equal the overall record for the most nights at the stadium on
