The special course I want to take
I hope our school can add a traditional Chinese painting course. Here are my reasons.
First, traditional Chinese painting is a treasure of Chinese culture. Learning it can help us understand the beauty of ink and wash, as well as the stories behind the paintings. Second, it’s a great way to relax. Unlike other subjects, painting allows us to express our feelings freely with brushes and colors. Last, I believe this course can improve our patience and creativity.
I expect the course to include both theory and practice. Teachers can introduce famous painters and their works, and guide us to paint scenes of nature or daily life. I hope we can have outdoor painting activities to observe and sketch beautiful things around us.
I’m sure such a course will not only enrich our school life but also help us inherit traditional culture.
