A team of scientists found that spending two hours a week of class time in nature could help 10 to

①The United Nations (UN) has decided that 2025 is the year of glacier (冰川) protection. It has also set
March 21, 2025, as the first yearly World Day for Glaciers to ask everyone to help save glaciers. You can think of
glaciers as slowly moving ice and snow on land. Over time, the snow adds up and turns into glacier ice. Glaciers
have shaped mountains and valleys (山谷) over Earth’s history. They are still moving and hanging land in many
places today.

China is using smart ideas to slow down glacier melting (融化), UNESCO said.
④One idea is to use special glacier blankets (毯 子 ) to slow melting. At Dagu Glacier, these blankets
covered 500 m2 and slowed melting by 34% (2020-2021). In Xinjiang’s Glacier No.1, thinner blankets worked

This study shows that nature-based programs can help children with more serious mental health problems.
The programs may act as a helpful tool to ease school-aged children’s mental problems. According to the

safe ways will play a bigger role in schools with green space.

This semester (學期), at Beijing New Oriental Foreign Language School in Yangzhou, Jiangsu, students
