As I am in the hospital wearing my white coat, I look just like any other doctor. That is until I put on my curly rainbow wig（假發）, big red nose, and add my name badge（徽章）“Doctor Larry Laugh - Out - Loud”. I chose this career because of my experience of going to hospital when I was a kid. Although the doctors and nurses did a great job, hospitals weren’t really designed for children. I spent much of the time when I was there feeling frightened and more than a little bored! Being a clown doctor means I can help people by bringing them joy.
Visiting hospitals and other health care places, we clown doctors work together with medical doctors. We have to be very sensitive and work closely with the doctors and nurses.
While the doctor focuses on examining Lara’s left arm, I get her attention by doing a magic trick. Although she is clearly still in some pain, her scared and nervous look has been replaced — first by a small smile, and then by loud laughter as I “magically” take her sock out of my pocket. Seeing their daughter so much happier has in turn made Lara’s parents more relaxed.
And as for me Well, when I take off my wig and my red nose, I’m still wearing a big smile, as I remember all the fun and laughter of the day. After all, it is really true that “laughter is the best medicine”.

Many do this by sending their children to school. The National Health Service (NHS) in the UK says it is fine for children to go into class with a cough or cold but if they have a high temperature with a sore throat, they should stay off school.

Coughs and colds are part of life; children can’t stay at home every time they feel poorly or are under the weather! Besides, coughing and blowing your nose all the time disturbs the rest of the class and teachers. If you are at school, you mix with others in classrooms and the lunchroom. You could easily spread the infection (傳染病) and make others ill, which is not fair on them.

While the dream of most university graduates is to start a successful career in a big city, more and more young people are choosing to stay in their own hometowns so they can stay with their family and friends. For some young people, it is also a matter of improving life quality for other people in their hometowns. Besides, they also have an idea to improve the natural and economic environments in their hometowns for future generations.
Li Dan, born in a small village in Southwest China, found that returning home to work in agriculture (農業) could bring her both challenges and a good life. Unlike most of her classmates who chose to work in big cities after graduation, she returned to her village and started her own fruit - growing business. High school students from around the world recently proved that robotics isn’t just about building machines — it’s about solving real - world problems.
The 2025 FIRST Robotics Competition in Shanghai (FRC), held at East China Normal University in March, brought together nearly 1,000 high school students from 43 teams coming from different countries and regions, including China, the United States, and Australia.
This year’s theme, “Reefscape” (拯救珊瑚), challenged students to design robots to rebuild ocean ecosystems. The challenges tested students’ both technical skills and environmental care.
Among the competitors, two Shanghai teams stood out. Team 6941 “Iron - Pulse” from Shanghai Pinghe School won first place, while Team 6940 “Violet Z” from a local high school took third. Both teams will compete in the world championship in Houston, USA.
As the world’s highest - level youth robotics competition, FRC requires strong teamwork, Mei Kai, the 17 - year - old captain of Iron - Pulse, explained. “Everyone has a role to play — whether it’s the driver, coach, technician or programmer — and success comes from working together,” he said.
Song Jinyang, coach of Violet Z, believes that this level of close cooperation among students helps to improve their ability to solve complex problems. “when a robot part fails, students must figure out the problems step by step, this teaches them teamwork,” she added.
The competition also encouraged global friendship. Violet Z once shared their coding tips with teams from other countries. “Real progress isn’t about beating others — it’s learning together,” said Iron - Pulse’s coach Jin Shifei. “If your competitor is missing a part and you happen to have it, would you lend it to them Of course, the answer is yes — that’s the true success of education,” he added.

For energy - saving measures, besides turning off lights when not in use, we'll also set up a system to remind us to turn off the electrical devices which are not used.
