There is a great need to search for clean and renewable energy to meet our needs. It seems that wind energy is a good choice. Do you know anything about wind energy
The first advantage of wind energy is that it truly is a renewable resource (資源). No matter how much wind we use to produce electricity, we will never reduce the supply (供應) of wind. When you go to the park, you might notice many older people listening to audio books (有聲書) instead of reading paper books. Audio books have become quite popular these days. Why are more and more people choosing audio books over traditional books Is listening to an audio book just as beneficial (有益的) as reading a book
Reading needs us to focus (集中) all our attention on the words in a book and we also need to find time and a place to sit down and read. However, you can listen to audio books anytime and anywhere you like, and it gives your eyes a break, too.
But the big question is, do we get knowledge from audio books as effectively (有效地) as we do from paper books Researchers did an experiment to find the answer. Volunteers in group one were asked to listen to an audio book while volunteers in group two read a book of the same content (內容). It turned out that they recalled the same amount of information, whether they listened to it or read it.
Another study published in the Journal (雜志) of Neuroscience (神經科學) further supported the result above. In the study, researchers scanned (掃描) people’s brains when they listened to and read books. The result showed that listening to audio books activates (激活) almost the same parts of the brain as reading does.
However, some people still believe that they learn better from reading paper books. One reason might be that when we listen to audio books, we are often multitasking (處理多個任務). “If you’re trying to learn while doing two things, you’ re not going to learn as well,” Daniel Willingham, a professor of psychology (心理學) at the University of Virginia, told The New York Times.

I’m a boy from Class One, Grade Nine. My name is Li Hua and I’m 14 years old. I’m an outgoing boy. My favorite subject is history. I have read lots of books of Chinese history so I know plenty of traditional folk stories, like Hou Yi Shoots the Suns, Yu Gong Moves a Mountain and so on. I can even tell them in English.
