Currently, jogging and gymnastics are causing a decline in enthusiasm due to lack of
engagement. I suggest offering varied options to boost motivation. We should encourage team sports

Brandon gently held Rubie and kept the bottle steady. Rubie drank quietly, her eyes locked on
his face. “You’re so gentle with her,” Mom whispered, watching from the doorway. Brandon smiled,
staring at the tiny white bubbles floating in Rubie’s bottle, remembering his wish and her words
about being “dependable.” When Rubie finished, he patted her softly, earning a nod of approval
from Uncle Jay. As he handed Rubie back, Mom added, “You’ve proven something today.” Her tone
hinted at a secret, making Brandon’s heart race.
The next afternoon, Brandon returned from school greeted by a big surprise.. Waiting on the
table was a small fish tank, bubbling softly. “Happy early birthday,” Dad said. “You’ve shown us
you’re ready.” Brandon’s eyes widened with joy. He knew exactly which fish he wanted—the red-
and-blue-striped one. The next day, they brought it home. Every morning, he fed it and checked the
water carefully. Looking at the rising bubbles, Brandon smiled. He had earned more than a pet—he
had earned trust, and taken his first real step toward growing up.

proven they were already creating cities during that time. And to do this in a jungle environment,
they had to clear rainforest areas for farming and even constructed large underground man-made
lakes to store rainwater.
M: Astonishing! Someday I’ll definitely visit the Maya ruins. I wonder how a civilization like theirs
came to an end.
W: That’s still a mystery. Around 900 BC, many Maya cities were abandoned, and scientists are still
trying to uncover the reasons behind the collapse. Hey, you know what I think I know what
topic I should present to our classmates in Mr. Smith’s class next Tuesday — the great Maya

give her an honest answer
According to a new study, three fifths to four fifths of the people surveyed have not been
completely honest with their doctors about the information that could be relevant to their health.
What’s more, more than a third of them didn’t speak up when they disagreed with their doctor’s
recommendation.
When those people explained why they weren’t straightforward, they said that they didn't
want to be lectured about how bad certain behaviors were.
The study included two populations: the first group consisted of 2,0ll participants who
averaged 36 years old, and 2,499 participants who were 61 on average made up the second group.
Scientists from four American universities carried out the study. In the study, the first author
expressed her concern.“It’s surprising. If patients are withholding information about what
they’re eating, or whether they are taking their medication, it can have significant results for
their health. Especially if they have some illness,” she said.
