One sunny momning,Class 7 ran into their classroom,excited to see Snowball,their fluffy

Ms.Green tried to calm the crying students."Don't cry,"she said
gently."We'll find him."Lily,who loved solving puzzles,decided to
help.She asked her friends to join her:Tom,who noticed small things

They hunted for clues.Tom's sharp eyes saw tiny paw prints near the cage."Look!"he
cried.The prints led straight to the open classroom window.But outside,the prints
disappeared.
Suddenly,Emma clapped her hands."Yesterday!I saw Jake cleaning the floor by the
window.He lifted Snowball's cage!"The three friends hurried to find Jake.When they asked
him,Jake's face turned red."I...just thought Snowball wanted sunshine,"he said quietly,
avoiding their eyes.
Lily noticed Jake's schoolbag on his back looked lumpy(圓鼓鼓的).“Jake,”she asked
softly,"what's in your bag "Jake slowly opened it.Inside,safe and warm on a soft towel,was
Snowball!
"I'm sorry,"Jake said quietly,his eyes down."I thought Snowball was lonely.I wanted to
cheer him up at my house for one night.I planned to bring him back tomorrow."
Everyone cheered in happiness.Snowball was safe!Ms.Green smiled."Snowball belongs
to the whole class,.Jake.Always ask first,,okay ”Jake nodded,.relieved(松了一口氣的)
The class happily returned Snowball to his clean cage.From then on,they took even more
care of their little friend.And Lily She earned a new nickname:Lily the Detective!
