一、基本概念
連詞用于連接單詞、短語或句子，表達它們之間的邏輯關系。在Unit 4中，我們主要學習并列連詞和從屬連詞。

when (當...時)

二、并列連詞用法

and 表示并列或遞進 I like English and math. (我喜歡英語和數學)
He is tall and strong. (他又高又壯)
but 表示轉折或對比 I like science, but I don't like history. (我喜歡科學，但不喜歡歷史)
She is young but very smart. (她很年輕但很聰明)
or 表示選擇或否定條件 Do you want tea or coffee (你想要茶還是咖啡 )
Hurry up, or you'll be late. (快點，否則你會遲到)
so 表示結果 It's raining, so we stay at home. (下雨了，所以我們待在家里)
I like music, so I join the music club. (我喜歡音樂，所以我加入了音樂俱樂部)
三、從屬連詞用法

because 表示原因 I like PE because it's exciting. (我喜歡體育因為它很刺激)
He is happy because he gets good grades. (他很高興因為他取得了好成績)
when 表示時間 When I have math class, I feel happy. (當我有數學課時，我感到快樂)
I listen to music when I do my homework. (我做作業時聽音樂)
if 表示條件 If it rains tomorrow, we won't have PE class. (如果明天下雨，我們就不上體育課)
I will be happy if you come to my party. (如果你來參加我的聚會，我會很高興)
before 表示在...之前 I eat breakfast before I go to school. (我上學前吃早餐)
Please finish your homework before you watch TV. (看電視前請完成作業)
after 表示在...之后 After school, I play basketball. (放學后我打籃球)
I do my homework after I have dinner. (我晚飯后做作業)
連詞使用注意事項：
并列連詞連接兩個對等的成分（詞與詞、短語與短語、句子與句子）
從屬連詞引導從句，需要與主句結合使用
because不能與so同時使用
（錯誤：Because I like it, so I study it. 正確：Because I like it, I study it. 或 I like it, so I study it.）
并列連詞前通常有逗號，但從屬連詞引導的從句在前時用逗號，在后時不用
第二部分：時間介詞
一、基本概念
時間介詞用于表示動作發生的時間點或時間段。在Unit 4中，我們主要學習表示具體時間、日期、月份、季節等的時間介詞。

after lunch (午飯后)
during 在...期間 during the holiday (假期期間)
during the class (上課期間)
三、時間介詞使用規則
規則 說明 示例
at + 具體時刻 用于精確的時間點 at 6:00, at noon, at midnight
on + 具體日期 用于特定的日子 on Monday, on July 4th, on New Year's Day
in + 時間段 用于較長時間段 in May, in 2023, in the 21st century
不適用介詞的情況 today, tomorrow, yesterday, this/next/last + 時間詞 I have a test tomorrow.
We went to the museum last Sunday.
固定搭配 in the morning/afternoon/evening
at night I study in the morning.
He works at night.
時間介詞常見錯誤：
混淆at/on/in：on 7:00 → at 7:00; in Monday → on Monday; at July → in July
this/next/last前不加介詞：on this Monday → this Monday
at night是固定搭配，不能用in：in night → at night
morning/afternoon/evening前用in，但具體某天的上午/下午用on：in the morning vs. on Monday morning
